Our Favourite Holiday Hideaway

Clayhanger Lodge is a well equipped hideaway set in a quiet location with stunning views. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. with ample parking and within easy reach of beaches and good pubs and restaurants. We love it ,this has been our third visit and we have booked for next year.. The only draw back being there are no walk-in showers

Fantastic location

The property is situated in a lovely location with great views and so peaceful. Overall we were very happy, however there were a few things that could be improved, eg instructions on how to control the heating in the bedrooms, the provision of some toiletries and some basic kitchen equipment, eg oven gloves, tea towels, etc. These issues were quite minor in the great scheme of things, but their absence proved an inconvenience.

Brilliant accommodation, highly recommended. Quiet location with fantastic views of the Dorset countryside and coast line. Bright and modern interior with all the amenities you need. We immediately booked again at this fantastic property.

Stunning Location

A wonderful location with stunning views and sunsets. Great base from which to explore Dorset. Lovely seating areas outside with easy access to public footpaths. The kids loved the garden - lots of space for games. Spacious interior and perfectly set up, however.... I was dismayed to read so many reviews that mentioned the poor state of the sofas as far back as 2018 - the problem is still there and really does need sorting when paying in excess of £2000 for a week. The lounge rug was also in desperate need of a clean. We would love to go back, a wonderful holiday and perfect location - shame about the lounge area.
