The room was absolutely boiling and even with the windows open all evening it was a poor nights sleep. No aircon and only a little fan. Very firm mattress but it realise this is preference. My husband loved it but I didn’t sleep at all. Close to amenities and nice and quiet. Overall would stay again.」

「What a lovely hotel with such good energy. There’s a serenity to this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities from a swim in the pool, hot sauna, hanging out in the terrace and dinner at The Living Space. The property itself is beautifully designed. A place to stroll and soak in the peacefulness. After dinner I took such a stroll and while everyone else was dining I was able to spend some time on the tree swings by myself. During the day the swings were occupied by children, and why wouldn’t...

「Absolutely lovely pub hotel. Rooms were great, comfortable beds, great selection of tea/coffee sachets in the room and a good smart TV. The breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. So quiet and peaceful but 3 minute drive to Ullswater. I walked down to Aira Force from the hotel which was a bonus. We'll be back!」
