The Space:
Escape reality in this beautiful oasis with soothing views of the Tennessee River. Bright vaulted ceilings, timeless hardwood floors, drip brew coffee maker, lightning-fast 1,000 Mbps fiber optic internet, and 50-Inch Smart TV for on demand entertainment.
The home is just a whisper away from the sleepy Tennessee River Gorge — with waterfront views peeking through the lush canopy of ancient oaks and maple.
Unwind in the master suite opening to the all-glass sunroom with river views. Indulge yourself with the private en suite bath, glowing in natural light from oversize windows.
Downstairs, the queen room's calming "sea foam" aura welcomes you with beach white duvet, chrome wood hangers and touch of zen. The bunk bedroom is perfect for kids or young at heart, with full mattress on bottom and twin mattress on top.
Just off the bedrooms, you'll find the on-demand entertainment area with large TV and comfortable seating options for movie night, with games & laundry room nearby. The room opens up to another spacious deck with beautiful views of the river.
This quiet sanctuary is fairly isolated on a rugged road with miles of dreamy forest winding along the river. We affectionately call it the "Rocky Road" — and although we're still looking for the chocolate, the small bumps along the way are simply part of the magic :)

Guest Access:
Enjoy exclusive, private access to the entire space. No other guests will be present, so you can simply relax and unwind in your home away from home.

The nearest grocery store is about 30 minutes away — and the home is about 35-40 minutes from downtown Chattanooga.
If you want to "escape" the hustle... get away from it all... and enjoy the fresh mountain air... this is the gift you've been waiting for :)
The Neighborhood:
The Oasis is nestled on lush woodland bordering Prentice Cooper State Forest.
Getting Around:
The home is fairly remote, so Uber or Lyft are unavailable. There is no public transportation that we know of (unless, of course, you spot a beaver with a paddle). We highly recommend arriving with a full tank of gas :)
Other Things to Note:
"Is there a grill? What kind of fuel does it use?"
There is a small charcoal grill on the front deck, however our guests bring their own charcoal and lighter.
"Can you give me a discount?"
You will get an automatic 10% discount if you book at least 7 nights and 20% discount for monthly stays.
"Can my car/truck/vehicle get down the road?"
Of course, we've had hundreds of guests easily arrive in all kinds of vehicles.
"Do you have reliable Internet & WiFi?"
Yes, we have lightning-fast fiber optic internet and WiFi, in fact, we're known for some of the fastest internet in the U.S., which we're very proud of :)
"How far is this house from downtown Chattanooga?"
We're 35 minutes from Chattanooga (18 miles). It's about 40 minutes to Ruby Falls.
"What time zone are you in?"
The Oasis is in Central time zone.
"What's the monthly rate? Can I lease month to month?"
If there's a full month available with no existing bookings, you're welcome to select the dates and the app will show you the pricing breakdown for your date range. We've had many guests book 30+ nights and we do offer a large 20% discount for monthly bookings. Also, for your safety and convenience, we only book through this app (no traditional leases or "under the table" agreements). If the dates are available, you're welcome to book multiple months and the app will charge you once a month (the same rhythm as a traditional lease).
"Can we go fishing and swimming on the river?"
Absolutely, there is river access and a privately owned dock perfect for fishing. The dock is exclusively yours and not shared with anyone else. Even so, the dock is older and does not look "new" in any way. If this would affect your rating, please don't come for the dock. Many of our guests enjoy swimming in the river as well. You can access the dock with a trail leading from the house to the river (a little steep but has good steps). Keep in mind the dock is older (like 30 years old).
"How can we rent boats, kayaks, etc?"
For rentals, I recommend River Drifters which has a variety of boats available for rent, just down the road (about 11 miles away). They also have a restaurant and a public launch right on the river as well :)
"Do you have a boat launch?"
Yes, we have a public launch only 1 minute down the street.
"What kind of coffee maker do you have?"
We have a drip coffee machine, it can brew a steaming hot cup with single-serving or an entire pot of fresh coffee, per your preference. I’m also happy to provide coffee and filters, on the house :) If you have a specific brand of coffee that you enjoy, you're welcome to bring that, too.
"Is there a pet fee? Weight or breed restrictions?"
Yes, we require a pet fee for furry friend (dogs only, no cats). If the platform allows you to select that you’re bringing a pet, please choose that option when booking and the pet fee will be added to your pricing breakdown. You’ll be able to see the exact fee before confirming your booking.
We have no weight or breed restrictions. Pet fees are due when making your reservation. A single pet fee allows up to 2 dogs during your stay. Pets must be respectful of the space and must not damage the home in any way.
“What’s the minimum age requirement for booking?”
Our minimum age required to book is 18 :)
“Do you offer payment plans?”
By default, full payment is required to confirm your reservation. We can’t control payment plans on our end, but in the unlikely event that one is available, you will see the option when booking.
"Are there pots and pans for cooking, etc?"
Absolutely, we have a fully stocked kitchen (just bring food!)
"How many TV's are in the house?"
There are 2 high definition TV's (game room + master bedroom) and lightning fast Wifi throughout the house for on demand entertainment.
"Is there an iron and ironing board?"
Yes :)
