From the time we checked in it was the most unorganized Hilton we have ever stayed at. Our whole stay was like we were invisible. We could walk up to a bar that had 3 or 4 bartenders just talking. It would take us saying something to them after being ignored to get them to serve us. Our safe in our room would not lock. The whole experience was awful.

The room was lovely and clean. Housekeeping staff was terrific. However, the folks at the reception area were quite frankly, awful. For this to have been an Autograph Hilton property, the service was abysmal. The front desk wouldn’t even answer the phone when you needed something. Several times I saw folks on their cell phones but wouldn’t answer the business line. Although there was a tremendously large and fresh selection of foods from all over the world in the buffet, it was just ok. Nothing special. The system for a reservation at one of their speciality restaurants - which incidentally is only 4 (Italian, sushi, bbq and seafood), it was nearly impossible to get a reservation. We did secure a dinner in the bbq restaurant and it really was not very good. Same as the buffet. I will say that one girl in the front desk area went above and beyond to secure an electricity converter for us (It should have been highly noted within the ad copy on Expedia that one would be needed) as we needed for a CPAP breathing machine. This resort disappointed me so much I regretted my trip to Curacao as a result. Major disappointment!!! And, they refused to give me Hilton Honors points! Don’t make the same mistake I did and stay here. Vacations are few and far for most of us and I hope yours isn’t a let down just because you chose this resort (which is also adjacent to the Rif, owned and operated by the same folks). FYI… Rif is adults only. Mangrove Beach Corendon is children and adult

Beautiful place , nice big room .very nice beach . There should be more staff at the bufet and they should be more polite , Almost every time we had to clean a table so we can sit and eat . But I’ll go again . We really like it .

I was hesitant about this trip given the reviews - a balanced review from my opinion: First time to Curacao - Hotel property and rooms were great Liked that everything was close by (restaurants, pool, beach ) Food options were great - restaurants all outdoor vibe - some like it, some don’t - we liked it. Please improve: -Clarity on Rif vs Mangrove rules - never had a consistent explanation from multiple staff or a clear sign (we ate at both properties, but not sure if we are allowed to or not). Each staff we asked gave a different answer. - all the reviews about the staff attitude/morale have merit to it. Of 4 nights there - 2 staff were kind/pleasant. The pool bar staff was especially horrendous. We felt like we were bothering them. Slow service is one thing (which it was) but it seemed like they hated their job. It wasn’t just one or two - it was all expect for one person. - if you’re expecting happy staff that are there to make you feel welcome- not happening, unfortunately. - don’t know if it’s the hotel or a larger issue with wages or a wider systemic problem. Since it was our first time, and I’ve never experienced this in other islands, did a bit of research on the history of the country and visited the museum. Suggest you do the same. It may give you perspective. All said, beautiful country, but probably will not return.

We had a room with a pool on the deck. It was a very nice room. If you are looking for the kind of service you get from most Hilton resorts you can forget that. The food was ok but most of the time the buffet trays were empty.

This place is just ok. The grounds, pools, rooms everything is nice. Just a lack of pride in service. Which is none. Ridiculous trying to get a dinner reservation. You have to stand in line for an hour. Food is not very good either, or at all. Plus all of this costs more than a vacay anywhere else. I won’t be back.

Room was in good condition. Didn't always have water in the room which was inconvenient. Air conditioner dripped water. Some staff were less that helpful. Drink service at the pool bar was extremely slow. Dirty dishes and plates were often found around the pool.

Came to this resort for my BFF 55th Birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted by Edwin one of the front desk staff. He was very pleasant and helpful. Once we got to our room I was greeted with the fresh smell of a clean room. There was a nice welcome letter with a nice cheese platter. Day 2 was when we realized how under staffed they are. In my group it was 17 and the only time we were all together was on an outing or at dinner. This resort is very UNDER STAFFED and it shows. There were a few staff members that seemed more pleasant than others (mainly the women were rude). When we asked if there were any staff that walked the pool/beach area to ensure the guest are taken care of and I was looked at like an alien. However on the 4th day of our 6th day we inquired about bottle service since we were all at the pool for the day and Maxi was the best. She made sure to check on us which was to me a HUGE PLUS. Breakfast buffet the same as any other all inclusive resort nothing special. Specialty restaurants no big hype. The BBQ spot is ok for those that eat meat. For those that don't is hard to get something to eat that hasn't been cooked on top of beef and pork. When my travel partner asked for her room to be cleaned while we were gone tor the entire day the room was NEVER cleaned. She phoned and an hour later they sent a pregnant lady to clean.(SMH). There were 2 bartenders that we nicknamed M&M they were GREAT. I have a lot to say but this won't allow me to type too much.

Disorganized in every department and lazy staff. King bed is 2 twins next to each other. Rooms are surface cleaned; saw same junk food in hallways/staircase for over a week. Hard to check in or get a restaurant reservation; mayhem. Can’t even be seated at the reservation time they’re too overwhelmed. Staff constantly on phones and eating behind food counters; this is not what I took time off for to stand at the counter for 20 minutes before being served or seated. Buffet not cleaned timely and waiting while staff standing there. I cleaned my own table. Buffet full of horse flies on food but decent tasting. What type of pool bar runs out of pina colada? Pretty place but service not good at all. The only pleasant people were the ladies at the scuba shack (Liz and Christina are amazing) otherwise do not rely on a smile from anyone. Ask staff where things are they don’t know. So what do they know? Poor training in all topics; cleaning, customer service and food sanitation. Beach was nice but all rocks and no service. Awful WiFi. Great resort for kids however.

The room was clean. My only issue was booking any restaurant other than buffet. When we checked in we were told you have to go to the 3rd desk and book only the day before. Turned out it was desk 2 and Everyday we attempted as soon as it opened 10am and was told they were booked up already. On the last day another person staying told us you can scan the menu barcode on this desk and book from there. Staff never told us this even the lady at the desk. This was the only issue we had but it is a decision maker for future stays elsewhere. We had what was supposed to be a deluxe king room, it was just another king bed room. It was next to a small pool and that wasn’t very busy.

This property should not be categorized as "all inclusive" because it does not provide all-inclusive services. This location should be categorized as "self-service" because the Hilton provides access to food and watered-down drinks all day but everyone is required to get their own food and alcohol. I was surprised and disappointed to learn that there was no pool or beach service - I was required to get up and walk to the lobby bar (from the pool) or walk to the pool bar to request a drink. Unfortunately, the staff are not service-centered so each member of my 17 person group had to wait to be served for longer than 7 mins for simple drinks. The pool bar staff spent more time talking to each other than delivering great service to guests. When I asked questions about the liquor-type (well or brand), their responses were dismissvie and rude. I would not recommend this property for anyone in my family or network. After being frustrated with the service level we received, I reached out to the head of F&B (Grec) to share our disappointments. Grec worked hard to secure reservations at the speciality restaurants to improve our stay which helped. Our day experiences were horrible. We travel at lesat 2x per year as a large group and expect to receive service aligned with our price-point. The Hilton should be ashame of its corporate brand to run this property so poorly. Edwin and Shana (front desk and guest services) worked hard to improve our stay but it didn't erase disasppointment.

The bed linin & pillows smelled like wet gym clothes. Called the front desk multiple times to restock my mini fridge & they told me multiple times they would send someone & that never happened. My safe in my room was dysfunctional & a lot of important items were stuck in there. When maintenance arrived he was very rude & unprofessional. Staff was not welcoming & made you feel like your presence was an inconvenience. Some staff in the restaurants would roll their eyes when asked for directions. Yesterday the whole hotel had no running hot water for an hr which made me lose a reservation @ a restaurant because I could not get ready & I had to settle for buffet dinner which wasn’t satisfactory because it was cold. Overall a low quality experience for what was spent in a “five star” hotel. Lots of negative reviews but I decided to overlook them when booking,

Debería haber más limpieza en la zona de restaurante, las cucharas, copas, vasos mal lavados! La hora del almuerzo en el buffet dura muy poco, las reservas a los restaurantes tienes que hacerlo con 2 días de anticipación porque nos quedamos sin poder ir a los restaurantes, las toallas de la habitación olían mal!! Poner a funcionar las máquinas de cola, cerveza porque habían unas que pasaron dañadas, el personal que trabaja les falta ser atentos con las personas y tratar de mantener el espacio donde se come limpio, hay mucho desorden, en el bar del lobby hubo un problema con uno que trabaja y nunca puso la cerveza solo se fue y no le importó que más personas estábamos ahí!
