“Met my needs with a great view of the Ottawa River”

“If you’re looking for a no fuss, no muss property to enjoy a peaceful stay, look no further! We enjoyed our time. We had one little hiccup, but the owners took care of us sufficiently! Would definitely stay here again.”

“David and Erika were excellent hosts in every way. Erika greeted us when we arrived and Dave was concerned and offered his assistance in multiple ways, far exceeding expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The house was filled with snacks, the fridge stocked and all other essentials were more than ample. This rental and property was the best by far in comparison to all other rentals we’ve encountered over the years.”

“Highly recommend. Overall great experience. We had a small issue with a propane tank, and the owner result it immediately. Very nice amenities. Great location. Everyone was very friendly. The coffee shop next-door is wonderful. Fisherman friendly. Will return again next year!”

“Was a great location and very clean! Beds were comfy. Neighbors were not welcoming but didn’t bother us either. Loved sitting on the deck overlooking the lake! Parking would be a little challenging if you have bigger vehicles.”

“The house was nice. Had everything we needed. The trees were full of birds singing, there are a couple eagles who stayed in the trees just outside and the squirrels were friendly too. The water was brown and unswimable, but overall, absolutely beautiful. Happy we booked here! Check in and out was easy and owner was responsive to messages.”

“This is our second visit to this hotel and it did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. We will be back when we travel to visit family!”

“It was as described online. Parking was a little tight for two trucks and a boat. Overall we were all very pleased with the amenities and location. We will probably book it again next year”

“There was no one at the desk, so there was a slight delay checking in, but I was helped by a friendly staff member eventually. The room was great--clean and comfortable, but the tub drain was really slow. Breakfast was delicious. We had a good stay with those minor bumps.”
