Washington William I Jacobs Recreational Complex Hotels

"They had not "turned on central air for the season" yet as it was supposed to be cold the week after we were there. However, it was 80 degrees during our time there. The only way we knew this was by overhearing it being told to another guest in the lobby. Nothing was said to us upon check in. Apparently, their solution was a small fan they could provide, or we could open our windows. It was hot, and the open windows let in a ton of street noise at night. Someone outside was smoking, and that also came into our room. Poor solution. We won't stay again. "

"The staff at the desk had no idea where anything was located. All I wanted to do was go from the hotel to the Washington Capitals Arena as fast as I could, and the lady at the desk had no idea she pulled out a map and sent me 25 minutes in the wrong direction by the time I got back I missed most of the game which cost me $300 otherwise the hotel was nice and in great condition and we loved staying there and it was a good value"

"Room more outdated than expected for price paid and for 4 star hotel. Parking garage very small for fair warning if you have a big car. Also pricey parking. Bed was very comfortable and nice staff. "
