Thank you for the kind words regarding my hospitality. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay. I believe all our other reviews speak for themselves, but I’d like to clarify your concerns for those who may be reading… ALL bedroom and bathroom windows in our home have window coverings for guests’ privacy as well as the living room windows on the front as they face another home on the other 3 acre piece. (Although the trees between block the view and you can’t see in those windows from house to house, they have coverings none the less) The one exception in the entire home is the dining area which faces out over an empty 22+acre of crops with an additional 100+ acres behind this. To say folks can see “everything day and night” is a bit of an overstatement. (There is no one there) This is the country - we love our unobstructed view of the field. The care takers/ owners live next door, which is disclosed in listing (also”within feet”is quite exaggerated) this is a six ACRE tract of land which has been split, so yes, “feet” are between us but there are hundreds. As far as our thermostats are concerned, our guests’ comfort is our desire; therefore, as stated in our instructions, they are set in a manner in which there is a range that guests are able to manipulate the temp to their liking. If for some reason we should have irregular temps, we communicate in the instructions as to the ease with which we can be contacted to adjust the temps further.(which we did immediately for these guests) These parameters were a must after having to replace our units to the tune of $12,000. There are three units and guests in the past have had air on one and heat on another fighting against each other.
