"Great communication about property and surrounding area. Well equipped kitchen but microwave on top of refrigerator, very high. Great fire ring outside and close walk to lake. Nice shower upstairs but also need shower downstairs as tub inaccessible for most seniors. Windows everywhere so felt we were living in the woods."

"I absolutely love this house! It is decorated so nicely, had everything we needed and I was so happy to have a fenced in yard for our pup with a nice deck for me to hang out on! I made many trips back and forth to the academy and the location is ideal! Will definitely try to stay again since I will be in the area so much over next two years!!"

"Selfishly I don't want to give a good review so it is available for us whenever we want it. Two hours after we got there a huge storm came through and knocked the power out. They were very responsive and kept us up to date when the power was going to be back on. We were very appreciative of that."

"We were new to the Interlochen area, as we normally stay farther north, but we loved the convenience of the location to other areas in NoMi. I highly recommend Interlochen State Park, especially if you're traveling with your pups. The home itself was well laid out and SO warm and cozy. We stayed over Christmas and often didn't even need the heater on, which was nice. The only things I'd add that aren't in the listing is if you're planning on cooking, bring exactly what you need, as there isn't a...

"This was our second stay on Bass Lake, but first in this location. We really appreciated having access to a beach and kayaks, plus the fire pit was excellent. The house has all the things you would want for a long stay, plus the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The owners were attentive and friendly, and made us feel welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again. P.S. I recommend bringing a pitcher-type water filter with you. Its a little bit more...

"Everything was very simple..which i like..lol the house was clean..nice set up..and the view is everything! If i had any complaints, it would be the pots and pans are a little out dated..very much used alot..lol but overall stay was wonderful, and i would totally go back!"

"The expansive property is great for walks to loosen body and mind. Cabin is clean and well furnished. Hosts are as great as they come! This was our second stay. Last year, we enjoyed long soaks under stars in the hot tub. This year, we enjoyed them even more in a new tub—the finest I’ve ever experienced. Thanks!"
