We chose Peter's home because it had a large dining table, enough beds for our family of 11, fun games for the kids, and was close to the ark! We had some issues with the heat upon arrival, however Peter was easy to reach and very accommodating with this unique situation. He did everything he could to make sure our stay was as wonderful as possible and transferred us to another nearby home that he also rents. I would stay at any of Peter's homes if we return to the area. Peter is a great host and we had a wonderful trip!

Wonderful accommodations and communication! The host mas very prompt and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was comfortable, spacious and had everything that was required for our stay! We especially enjoyed the arcade setup and wanted to stay a couple more nights.Will stay again if we are back in the area.

We had everything we needed The snacks provided for the children was a much appreciated bonus. The house had every amenity we needed with plenty of room for the kids. Location was great. And thank you for the Keurig coffee products for the adults. The facilities were very clean and washers and dryers were an added bonus. Thank you Peter for a great time in Kentucky.

The house was great and just as described. Location was wonderful . Close to the Ark Encounter. The only thing we had a problem with is you couldn’t adjust the air and it stay at the temperature we wanted. It was preset to go back up and we were warm in the house.

This is our second time staying at this house and we'll definitely come back again! Beautifully appointed home with everything that you need and in a great location. Peter is a great host and fixes whatever needs to be fixed quickly.

House was clean and comfortable. No problems during our stay. I liked the bedroom in the basement with its own bathroom. It was closed off from a playroom with a door that allowed privacy. The TV in the family room was large. I also appreciated snacks left by the host. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This property was a very convenient location for our visit to the Ark Encounter. Overall it was pretty clean and in good condition. We appreciated having soaps, paper products and towels provided. Very nice to have two washers and dryers also! The property manager responded quickly each time I contacted him.

Perfect, quiet, comfortable and fun place to rest

We rested and kids enjoyed playing the games provided. Loved the colorful artwork! The snacks, breakfast & coffee provided saved us as we weren’t didn’t make it to the grocery after a long day driving and getting the youngest to bed.

Very quiet location, close to the Main St area (which is going through something of a revitalization, so definitely check it out!The house has 2 driveways, which is nice, but one is quite steep. The other, on the left of the front door, is by a nice walkway that leads up to the backdoor as well.The interior was clean, and had just the right amount of furniture.Layout of the living is a bit awkward with the TV on the wall perpendicular to the couch because it's hard to watch a movie looking to your left all the time. We spent most of the night planning ways to rearrange the living room if "this was our place" :DKitchen was clean - no issues with the filtered water from the fridge either - no weird taste etc.Hallway is narrow though, so single lane traffic only - I had suggested to the host that they convert the door to the basement room/bathroom/game room to a barn door or pocket door. You can't get into the bathroom in the hallway if the basement door is open.Basement rooms were quite a surprise. The bedroom/extra bed with the very large spacious bathroom were spot on. The game room is loud though, because of the tiled floor and lack of furnishings to soak up the noise from the air hockey table (which is super fun BTW).The house is only about 10 mins from the Ark Encounter, and about 15mins from Rt 75 further up north (go visit Hansie Flip Burger in Williamstown and Beans on Rt75).

Excellent location and plenty of room!

Great set up for large family! Two living areas! Two washers, two dryers, two bathrooms and two driveways! Peter answered all messages and questions within moments! Excellent hostess and great property!

Great house near the Ark Encounter

This was a great location for our family to stay. The only problem we encountered was the temperature in the basement. It was very cold due to the fact that the house only had one thermostat and it was on the main (upstairs) floor. We enquired about it, were told that there were space heaters in each room, but when we plugged more than one in, it tripped the breakers every time. It wasn't a problem that I wouldn't stay here again, but I probably wouldn't come in the winter. That was the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. We loved the house completely and would recommend it otherwise.
