“We enjoyed this nice home on our way across the US. Sunrises were beautiful and the privacy the home offered was appreciated. Fun to watch the different birds in the lake catching their dinner and breakfast. Was nice to sit on the porch and the deck taking in the views.”

Beautiful scenery, cool creek area to kayak some depending on water levels, wooded trails to walk, friendly goats and chickens (we got to help feed the baby goats which was an unexpected bonus), and overall laid back feel while not being to far from anything. The host(s) were more than helpful with any questions. Very kind, personable, and down to earth. Even gave us some fresh eggs to eat which are……

“Rented one of the cabins but was very disappointed to discover the water heater was broken and did not produce hot water for the showers. Instead we had to use the community showed and they were dirty and the clientele created a filthy unclean shower space..... Overpriced and not the comfortable experience we were looking for with a cabin.”

“This lake house is by the lake Livingston and has an amazing view. It's right beside the wolf creek park, where my kids love to play. Coldspring is a nice little town, and there are several nice diners. The house itself is very clean and well stocked. Some small things may need some maintenance, but they didn't impact our stay. Overall it was a great place to relax and rewind. We really loved it.”

“We were looking for a relaxing end to our Texan adventure and this property fitted the bill perfectly. We spent many hours just chilling out on the large deck at the rear of the house overlooking the lake, and it did feel like we were in the trees! Unusually for this type of property in Texas, it was very private and secluded, particularly when relaxing on the deck. Cherise is a great host to deal with, providing clear arrival instructions (we didn't go down the neighbour's drive!), clear……

“The prior low reviews aren't very relevant, but here's my 2 cents. The house is actually very superb for the price. The parking spot sucks for a Diesel Excursion, but I made it work. The beds are semi-comfortable and sleep 6. However, the seating is only for 2-3 adults. There was also one cockroach that we found, but we're near the water, that's to be expected. I liked that I didn't have to spend extra money on pet fees and that it's not too far from I-45.”

“The place is very cute, Brandon was wonderful accommodating us with all our questions and even allowed us to check in early. Unit has 3 air conditioning units inside the cabin. Only 1 of these units were able to cool down the center room. The other 2 units slightly blew cold air but not enough to make a difference. We followed the a/c instructions in the booklet, but couldn’t get the tiny home to cool down. It was 85 at night inside while we slept. At 11:30 at night we ran out and purchased fans……

“Beautiful home, with ample room for two families with children. Right in the waters edge overlooking the lake. Attentive manager and the owner lives nearby and dropoed off some gas for the grill (it was actually there already) 5 mins after asking. We all had a great time watching yhe sunsets from the terrace and the kids loved to swim and paddle board as they wished. Loved the stay, would recommend to anyone.”
