“Weekend started off rough! After traveling nearly 5 hours for a much needed weekend, my husband and I arrived (approximately 1 hour after check in time) to a dirty cabin. Our plans were to rest for a bit after traveling, shower and clean up before going out to eat for the evening. However, we walked in to a smell from trash that had not been emptied, a bed where the covers had been pulled up from the previous guest, wet towels hanging, wash cloths draped in the shower and a wet bath mat. I tried……

“Booked last minute and this was our first stay here. We were very happy with the both the cabin, the surroundings and the proximity to Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. There are multiple cabins in the compound and this would be the perfect location for several couples planning to visit the area but who don't want to share a multi-room house. Everything was clean and functional. We stayed in the Hope cabin which I gather is the smallest but we never felt cramped for space. The view out……

“We enjoyed the National Park which was great walking and exercise for us to go and listen to the birds and more. we enjoyed the Hot/Jet Tub. It rained frequently but was not too muddy. But did make the weather temp awesome. did not need much a/c with windows open to enjoy cooler air The bed was comfortable and the sheets were very smooth. Very nice touch to have breakfast foods in refrig upon arrival. Plenty of supplies: bath towels, dog towels, muddy feet towels, Only issues: as a property……
