“Everything was as described for the most part, we did not have enough hot water for two separate showers so that was the only disappointment!”

“We stayed here for the solar eclipse, and I can tell you that the pictures of this property don’t do it justice. Yes, from the front it looks like an overgrown shed, but I assure you it’s so much more than that! Inside it’s airy and spacious with room for everyone to hang out together. Where it really shines is on the multiple level deck off the back of the house which overlooks the river in the distance! Incredible views of the sunset from the comfort of your own rental property! Such wonderful……

“I thought I was booking another RB&B closer to town that was larger so when I arrived, it was a little bit chaotic with my partner. She was a bit disappointed, but overall we were very happy with the facilities and I would recommend it. Two little snafus, one the yard man was mowing and weeding when we arrived and not his fault he was having to work around the weather conditions and he was there as we were leaving mowing the front yard. The other was the lock was very tricky, but the issue was……

“Keyless entry, very convenient! Everything was perfectly clean, fresh and new! By all appearances, property looked as if we were first guests ever!!! And immaculately clean. Just as if I had prepared for my visit. Loved everything!!!!”

“We loved this house and would come back. It is close to many things but secluded. Two things: I thought it was on it's own based on the listing but it is on property with several other houses, but it is still quiet and we loved the horses that we fed out front. The other thing is we never got the water hot in the shower, no issues in the bathroom sink but the water never got hot and was difficult getting even warm. But we loved the location and would be back.”

“My Granddaughter and I have wanted to take a trip together for several years. We're so glad we chose Hackberry Hideaway. The house was perfect for our stay. After a long day of shopping it was so nice to chill out at the house and just relax. We loved the shower! We would stay here again!”

“There were 7 ladies and we had a wonderful time. The listing had that there was a pool maybe just an error otherwise everything was perfect. Unfortunately the pontoon was down for repairs but maybe that saved us from sunburns lol my friend loved the king bed so much that she ordered one online as best of sleep in years just awesome”

“1st time Fredericksburg travelers, heavenly host did a great job with the property we rented “enchanted hideaway” however if we come back we may look into the property next door as it seemed to have more amenities. The location was great and has several eateries/bars/grills within walking distance which was nice. Our only major concern or takeaway was about 5am the trash truck that comes and does the dumpster next door is pretty loud!! But, overall it was a fun experience and a nice getaway!”

“This place is going to be great. They have only been open 3 weeks and they have a few kinks to work out, but once they do, this place is going to be special. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique experience in Fredericksburg. Location is great and less than 15 minutes to dozens of wineries. The units are swanky with great amenities. ”
