「This is a great place to stay when exploring the Redwood Coast and truly felt like being home. The house was exactly as listed. There is a huge yard and is located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood where you can hear the crickets chirp and the frogs croak under the stars. No complaints at all.」

「This little house was in a beautiful location, right in the forest. You can see the trees out of every window and skylight! We liked that this was private and a bit out of town. This was a good home base for seeing the redwoods and beaches both to the north and south. The beds were very cozy and we had everything we needed for our family of 6.」

「This location is tucked in to McKinleyville, and is spacious, clean, and quiet. It is located on the same property as the owners but that was no problem for me and my family. Also the driveway gets muddy when it rains, but otherwise the pace was great. Well equipped, clean, and cozy. Would stay again.」

「We came back to the Classy Craftsman for our 3rd time. This time unfortunately the home felt run down. There were a few flies in the home , pealing paint in the kitchen , the fireplace didn’t work and there was an over all musty odor. They have replaced the oven which was a lovely upgrade! The location is outstanding. It is a spacious home! Walking distance to downtown and a beautiful market! We loved it enough to come back 3 times just this time the home felt neglected. 「There were many mosquito hawks inside, other than this, my stay was perfect.」

「I liked the quiet neighborhood. Parking was a little tight and had to back out of a fairly steep driveway onto the main road, but there was little traffic so not too bad. Beds were comfortable. My biggest concern was finding hairs and a small piece of a soap bar on the upstairs shower floor. The shower was obviously not cleaned properly, if at all. That was gross!」
