“My recent stay at Turf Valley Resort was disappointing. The first issue was finding a spider on the ceiling of my room, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. I was also looking forward to relaxing by the pool, but that experience was ruined by an overly aggressive lifeguard who repeatedly approached and interrupted guests. “The 1st room had some kind of flying insects on the air conditioned and in the window area, I called the front desk receptionist and she immediately moved me to a different room without any hesitation. Great customer service. I didn't like the fact that they don't serve hot breakfast. Only grab and go options. They shouldn't advertise they serve breakfast. “We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. We would definitely stay there again. The Inn also has a great history dating back to the late 18th Century. It is said that George Washington stayed there……

“Super close to Merriweather Post Pavilion, the shuttle service two and from the concert venue was spot on. It was great to not have to worry about driving and the hotel itself was clean with a very helpful staff.”

“The property was filthy the bedding had burn holes on the comforters the sheets had stain on them the toilet would not flush they didn't clean up the trash cans outside it was dirty I want my money back”

“Check in took 25 minutes. Our shower did not work the night we arrived and maintenance could not fix it. They brought a bucket with a pitcher to our room so we could pour water over our heads while standing in the shower. We were told when we woke up we could come to the front desk and get a new room for our second night however at 7 o’clock in the morning we were awoken by a loud banging noise. It was maintenance and they fixed it which was good, however, this was not the resolution that was……

“We paid extra for the breakfast room but felt it wasn't worth it. No bacon, just sausage. Orange juice from a Tropicana bottle. The waiter was lovely but they ran out of things and he was always running back to the kitchen. All staff was very nice. Free parking available across the street.”
