  • This beautiful, top floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, oceanfront unit at Station One has everything you and your family could need. There is an oceanfront balcony off of the master bedroom and living room. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a full size private bathroom. The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds, one of which has a trundle, perfect the children's room! The living room is furnished for your perfect comfort and great for movie night. The dining area and kitchen are great for family dinners. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and is stocked with everything you may need! This unit has been updated with guests in mind, make your stay today!

    Station One is located in the heart of downtown Wrightsville Beach and has community pool, tennis, basketball courts, and gas grills. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and local mini grocery! This complex has everything you need for a perfect family vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in the same building several times. I have always enjoyed staying there and in the past there have been some issues but nothing major. For instance I got a not so friendly email accusing us of smoking on the balcony when we did not. It wasn’t the best experience but after reminding ICR workers were in the condo below doing renovation I got a half hearted apology at least. This trip started out with us 1 hour out and still not having received an instruction email on room access etc. My fiancé called and had a less than welcoming discussion asking for the info. When we got in we made a list of the items we noticed as requested and Elsa Oles that list to cover us from paying for damages as requested. Overall, the unit was clean. We noted a few small stains on the chair covers, a lack of shower liner/curtain, and parts from the oven sitting on the counter. Our biggest issue was the note on the fore from the master to the patio that says “do not open.” A woman responded to our email and they had maintenance there quick. It was great. We got a shower liner and the door was inspected to reveal it had been sealed shut. The maint man said he would see if there were any notes in the system or what could be done. That was the very last communication we heard from ICR despite email follow up etc. The problem is the master faces the morning and afternoon sun. If you open the main sliding door and windows to enjoy the breeze coming off of the ocean, the master just absorbs heat and makes for miserable sleeping conditions. However if you use the air conditioning and keep the doors shut the master stays cool. We did not spend all that money to sit in an air-conditioned room in December.We followed up for a couple days and gave up. The only reason I’m taking time to write this is because it made for a bad stay in the winter so I can’t imagine how uncomfortable someone would be in the summer. Will no

Could have been better...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had several issues with the unit 8I. We have been staying in this unit the past several years, but things have really gone downhill. Following outlines some of our issues (1)there were 2 roaches in the unit; (2) A/C broke; (3) several lights out in the kitchen; (4) furniture, curtains and rugs were dingy. It is not likely we will stay in this unit going forward. I would recommend the property just not this unit.

Afterwards when your office opened a delightful lady called and informed me I would receive a full refund. Wow what good service. I got maybe half of my money back. I have called a few times and not called back. I can live with the money loss but the dismal of me as a customer is very distasteful. I am property hunting in the Wilmington area. I am going to be coming back still looking for property. Looks like I’ll got through another realtor.

Loved waking up to the view of the ocean. Couple of negative points - the shower rod in the master was one with a suction and fell down. The comforters in the smaller bedroom were stained. The front door was very hard to open and close. I would have preferred a washer dryer in the home but not sure if the condo rooms allow. Other than that we had an amazing trip.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the facility was great. There were restaurants and shopping close by and the beach access was wonderful. The pool was very nice as well. The unit that we were in did need some maintenance. The air filter was completely clogged with dirt and dust. This limited the AC in the front bedroom. We did change it and it improved. The towel bars were falling off the wall and the shower curtain was ripped and falling down. The trundle bed was left with a urine stained mattress pad and there were no mattress covers on the beds. The twin bed had trash, markers, shells and dirt underneath. The property needs a bit of cleaning up, but the location was outstanding.

Reviewer Comments: Overall it was very good - however, there is some feedback about the unit that should be considered: (1) Patio furniture should be repaired/replaced. The table is cracked and there were only 3 plastic chairs; one was broken so we couldn't use; (2) dishwasher was not usable as the first time we tried it did not drain the water properly so we had to hand wash the dishes; (3) front door is extremely difficult to open/close and the door handle looks like it is about to fall off; (4) there is a small hole on the right side of the back wall - not sure what this is all about but should be fixed. Everthing else was wonderful.

Unfortunately, there was unplanned construction going on the entire month which made it very noisy during the day. IntraCoastal staff was very apologetic and gave updates about the construction on a regular basis. They did give me a nice discount because of the inconvenience.

Family Beach Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location!! Can't get any closer to the beach. The onsite management was friendly and helpful. Only compliant about the specific rental unit was that there is no where to sit comfortably with wet suits on. We had rain a couple of days that forced us off the beach and had to wait out the rain in the condo. The patio isn't covered so we sat on the floor. Other than that one small issue the condo is updated, clean, close to restaurants, and right on a life-guarded beach! The condo was really quiet and felt very safe since all doors to the complex are locked and require a key to enter. Would definitely rent again!

Quick Weekend Get Away to the Beach!

Morgan in the office is quick to provide me with a list of locations to look at and gets it right each time for what we are looking for in a place to stay. I appreciate her professionalism and prompt service. I would recommend Station One 8I as what you see is what you get if you're looking for top floor privacy of beach front view. Hearing the sounds of the ocean during the day and seeing the full moon up close bright makes for a memorable weekend for our entire family. Thank you for everyone involved in making this trip so worth it!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 15th year. I was disappointed with this unit. Initially there were issues with the way it was cleaned, but those were resolved. However, we reported 3 other problems we discovered during our stay (air conditioning filter in need of changing, poor drainage of tub in master bath, loose toilet in master bath) but none were resolved. We replaced the shredded shower curtain in the 2nd bath with one we were provided, but by the end of the week, it was already shredding. Though the unit has had some upgrades, there are details that need to be addressed.

The unit had modern appliances, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good wifi, great tile work thru-out, fabulous view, and central location. Secure and well-managed facility. Some of the outdoor balcony chairs needed to be replaced, but there were enough good ones for our party of three. Loved the large no-roof ocean front balcony on top floor. Sunset views from the front windows were nice too Pictures in listing were accurate. A great rental experience.

Will definitely book it again for next summer. The condo is clean, updated and has everything we need. The location of Station One can't be topped at Wrightsville Beach! It's beachfront, has a pool and is right across the street from great restaurants and activities. We recommend this building (and especially this condo unit) to everyone!

Station One Review of stay in 8I FROM 7/18-7/25

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The weather was perfect. Station One is a great location. The pool was a bit dirty on a few of the days. Our condo was on the 8th (top floor) which is tough because there is no cover on the balcony which allows for a lot of seagull droppings. The patio furniture was very worn, dated and weathered and frankly not useable. The decor in the condo was great. Kitchen was refurbished not too long ago. The handle on the microwave was broken in half and the range/stove top was old school but it worked. The bedrooms were well appointed. Ceiling fans would have been a nice addition. Clocks in the bedroom would also be great to include. The bathrooms have been updated with nice tile and countertops but the shower heads fall way short. Both showers could use even just a $15 shower head from Lowe's to make showering better than standing under a light hose drizzle. The tile floor throughout the condo is great for summer however, the tile was pretty dirty upon arrival. We used several wet swiffer pads until we felt comfortable with the level of cleanliness.
