「The room was described as a “comfort room “ we loved it! It was surprisingly spacious enough, beautiful decor and soft furnishings. The bedding and towels quality were exceptional. Hospitality tray and outlook were lovely. If I had to give a small negative, there was a slight odour in the bathroom, from probably the cloths/ mops used to clean, a bit “ sweaty socks” type of odour which lingered. On another practical preference negative, the restaurant is beautiful, ambient and amazing service...

「We found the staff very friendly, had a lovely meal in the restaurant with the staff very attentive. The room we were allocated was room 6, a cozy double room even so a chair of some kind would have been useful and yes there was enough room for one. It had a great shower but a shelf in the cubicle would be of great advantage. It would have been helpful to be advised in the advertising of the room that the window in the room was frosted so there were no views from the room.」

「We had a one night stop here in October. The room had been redecorated reasonably recently, the bathroom also looked very modern, all very clean. A new mattress wouldn't go amiss though. The staff were very friendly and helpful, for our evening meal we had a pizza, which was ok, it was tasty and very filling. We didn't have breakfast so cant comment. The absolute best thing about this hotel is sitting outside the front having a drink and admiring a stunning view! That alone would bring us...

「Good location for exploring North Yorkshire , the food in the restaurant was good value for money , I can recommend the mixed grill mezzo for 2, there was a good choice of draft beer in the bar , the room was spacious & clean but requires updating the window didn’t close, the shower rail was loose, the toilet seat did not fit correctly & 1 light fitting failed to operate , the staff were friendly & the inn was good value for money with free parking」
