“This VRBO is very close to downtown Wimberley yet feels like you’re out in the country. Very peaceful and private surroundings. Kitchen is very well equipped and we enjoyed using the hot tub on the back deck. The owners were very hospitable. We would stay here again.”

“My husband and I stayed here for our babymoon and we had a great time. The location is literally unbeatable. We walked most places, and anywhere we drove was less than 10 minutes away. Place was relatively well stocked, beds were pretty comfortable, and communication and check in were great! The couch is not very comfortable so if you’re like us and want to snuggle up for a movie after a day of exploring, be prepared 😂 also the salt and pepper shakers were both empty, but that was a minor……

“This charming casita was the perfect place to stay for our son’s graduation from Texas State. Hosts, Joan & Blake, thought of every amenity to make our stay pleasant. No detail went untouched. Anything you could possibly think of was available at our fingertips – snacks, drinks, a full kitchen, including a new 50’s like refrigerator & stove. They also thought outside the box & provided binoculars & head lamps for outdoor excursions of the beautiful property. TV was a great size & internet was……

“Cute place, very smartly organized and nicely decorated. Really made the most of the footprint. Conveniently located near Wimberly. Was a bit noisy and no way to block out the sun in the morning completely so you're up when the sun's up. Hot tub could have been cleaned better but at the end of the day, good value spot.”

“We stayed at this cabin for a week. Loved the location, the creek, the quiet, the caretakers little dogs❤️, comfy bed… the list goes on! A couple of suggestions. *A dining room table would have been nice. * Get rid of the nonstick pans. They are chipped and not usable. (The caretakers kindly let us use their personal pans) Leia was most helpful! * Let folks know there is a charcoal grill, but no charcoal. We arrived around the dinner hour hoping to grill, but couldn’t. (Again, the kitchen pans……

“We were looking for a quick weekend getaway at the end of Spring Break with the kids. Small and quaint, this little house had more than enough room for our family of 5 and super comfortable beds. It was also within walking distance of downtown Wimberly and all the shops and restaurants. It was a bit cold and rainy, so we didn't get to enjoy the river as much as we would have liked,but it was very pretty and we enjoyed having coffee by the river in the mornings. We would definitely stay here……

“Beautiful property, super friendly hosts and perfect accommodations! The evening visits from the "locals" that frequent the bird feeders and deer feeder were fun to watch. Highly recommend!”

“This home was nice and cozy!!! It was very close to downtown Wimberly. The beds were very comfy and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch swing and rockers. ”

“We had an amazing girls trip and this cabin was absolutely perfect! We had plenty of sleeping options and the pillows were AMAZING! The twin beds were so very comfortable. The views, the creek, the location - it was perfecto! I love that it was right by downtown Wimberley. We had a wonderful day of eating, shopping and being silly. I highly recommend. Tip - it is not secluded and other cabins are nearby but it did not take away from the experience.”

“Our visit to Fox Hollow was great. It unfortunately rained most of the time so we couldn’t enjoy the patio as much as we wanted. Wimberley is far enough away you don’t hear any of the city life, but close enough we could enjoy some great meals. The snacks and treats were just perfect and a great touch. If the shower water could have just been 5-10 degrees hotter, it would have been great. We even hung out in the loft and watched the deer. If I could take this tiny home back with us, I would!”

“The house was comfortable with an at home feeling for my family of 6. Very peaceful setting, other than the small communication mishap about some construction that was happening on the property it was great. We will definitely use this property again when we come back to visit. ”

“We stayed in Megs Boarding House for my birthday weekend. Didnt help that it rained and a cold front came thru. But didnt stop us from utilizing the pool. I dont think id stay in megs boarding house again though and would definitely upgrade to a newer cabin. But glad i got to experience staying in there. Was very adorable, but walls are super thin and we were upstairs and man those stairs are steep ...and i get it...its old fashioned megs boarding house lol. But there was even dirt marked on the……

“This house looks just like its pictures. It’s the second year we stayed here for our annual reunion with our college friends. We have our reunion at a different house in the neighborhood so we mostly just sleep at the house. Our only complaint is that both of the king mattresses are rather lumpy. Overall this house is great for families :)”
