Cute Cottage

The cottage is so cute and the view of the creek is great! We loved getting to sit down by the creek, and enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning. The bed was very comfortable. Great place to stay!

Easy check in, close to water, private potty area for the pet, comfortable and shady back area. Needed a sweeping of the spider webs in the porch area. Bed room needs some dark curtains as it was just like daylight at night. Other than that, this part of the creek is our favorite in the area that we do not share with anyone. See you next year!

Lovely Getaway

Our recent stay at the Getaway Cabin was delightful. Peace and tranquility abound and the attention to detail both inside and out is amazing. All the necessary things to allow a lovely stay are provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Perfect Cottage

We loved everything about this cottage. It is the perfect size for two people. It is clean, charming, and very comfortable. It is bright and cheery and a lovely view of the creek and all of the trees.

Tranquility

Cabin was clean. Stay was very relaxing , everything you need was stocked in the cabin. Owners visited property very friendly, also concerned that all was good with our stay. Also very happy to go out of their way if anything was needed. Have stay here several times and will be returning soon.

Top notch experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very pleasant, clean and very well kept. Nice and peaceful right on the creek with constant trickling water. Only a few miles from the town square with lots of shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay making impromptu friends

My mother, son and I stayed here during the latter half of Spring Break. The cottage was right on the creek affording us the opportunity to watch my son make friends with neighbors from adjacent cottages and play in the water.

Peaceful & Comfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Creekside cabins, The Getaway. The place was clean, cozy & very well organized for a small cabin. The furniture was comfortable and kitchen very usable for two people. The outdoor space is excellent for reading or socializing and proximity to the creek creates a big nature vibe. Everything was wonderful we will definitely be back!

Perfect place to relax

This cottage had everything we needed. Awesome access to the nearby creek bed was a nice place to go out and wander (with our dog). We were also very close to downtown Wimberley, where we spent plenty of time on the restaurants and shops. This place helped us unwind and relax, which is exactly what we needed. Thank you!

Great Getaway

Very cute cottage. Nicely decorated. The wall H/C system in the living room does not provide enough heat so the space heaters and firewood provided for the fireplace were a nice addition. You cant beat the view of the creek. Far enough for a quiet, relaxing stay and just a short drive to downtown to enjoy dining and shopping. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the summer!

Wimberley getaway

The home and community are adorable. Our cabin had an amazing view of the stream and trees. It was so quiet and peaceful. The only negative I had was that the mattress was not very comfortable and rolled to the middle.

Getaway cabin

The cabin was very nice. The only problem we had was the mini split heater didn’t work in the bedroom and heater in bathroom didn’t work either. (Temperatures outside dipped below freezing both nights we stayed). They came out to repair it, but it still didn’t work correctly the second night y came

Great Getaway

My husband and 2 daughters (14 and 9) stayed at the cottage for 2 nights. The location was great with private access to a spring. The blue hole was closed so it was nice to get experience a private natural spring. We also brought out dog and had a great time enjoying Wimberly and the home. Will consider coming back again with friends at a larger location.
