“Enjoyed our couple of days here, was a great base for visiting nearby family. Quiet and remote but within a 5 minute drive of facilities. Cabin very comfortable and well equipped, spacious bedroom with large en-suite shower room and with added bonus of comfy double futon in lounge. Owner very responsive to queries and advised us en-route of temporary road closure which was helpful. Beautiful setting at edge of wood, which we enjoyed a stroll through. We felt they needed to think about slightly better storage and the couch/ bunk beds were probably six inches too high for comfort. The fold away table was also poor although it served a purpose. The hut had a slightly tired feel and would benefit from some upgrading - television for example.”

“We had a wonderful Christmas in the charming Shepherds hut whilst visiting family near by. We brought our slow cooker with us and managed to make make a Christmas dinner in the well equipped kitchen. Toasting marshmallows on Christmas Eve was a highlight!”

Chris was extremely helpful, especially when offering unprompted suggestions for alternative activities when our plans were affected by extreme weather on the Saturday. The Cabin itself is terrific accommodation, everything was clean, well equipped and presented very well indeed. “Thoroughly enjoyed the independence that Two Bare Feet gave me Staying in conventional hotels around the country can become a chore. Its location with its five minute walk into the city centre makes it ideal The facilities and cleanliness were second to none. Only thing to let it down is the lack of property parking but overnight parking is around £7.30 a night and is an inconvenience not ideal for everyone. That said I would recommend it and would certainly stay there again Many thanks again……
