Waterfront vacation rental. Sleeps 4 adults. Kayaking, fishing, swimming and floating down the Susquehanna River. BBQ'S & campfires. 5 minutes from anemites. (groceries @ the BIG M, Dollar General, restaurants, schools, post office, free public boat launches, state park "Cole Park", Animal adventure(zoo), Frog Pond a large farmers market, Pine Ridge Amish groceries. A great place to enjoy the peace and serenity of nature. Exterior security cameras. no pets, no events, no parties. 2 WEEK MAX. RENTAL. A well lite covered patio to enjoy the sunshine, water and sunsets. Sipping coffee/tea at the table under the umbrella with a book enjoying the sounds of nature. Our area is known for the Spiedie Festival so do enjoy Lupos and Spiedie & Rib Pit restaurant.

Another great stay

While it was a cold and damp memorial day weekend the home was nice and cozy. The house offers amazing views of the river and it was so relaxing. The property was extremely private which was exactly what we were looking for. We had a mishap while cooking at the house and Bob and Amy were very understanding that accidents sometimes happens.

Peaceful riverfront getaway

Lovely home with a beautiful river view. The location was so close to Animal Adventure Park, the reason for my visit. I would definitely stay again.

A True Paradise

We stayed here and it was a true paradise, very quiet and very very pretty. The cottage is on a really nice bend in the river, you can sit on the front porch and just watch it go by. The place is newly updated, very clean and presentable. We would stay here again. Also, check out Animal Adventure Park 5 min away.

Excellent stay

This was our second time staying at waterfront properties. Great place right in front of the river away from the hustle and bustle. Very spacious for 2 people and well appointed. Very clean. Can’t wait to go back for our 3rd visit!

Relaxing evening

We were only there one night, but it was very comfortable and relaxing to sit and watch the river view after a long day’s ride. Everything we needed was provided. Thank you for a great stay.

Clean, quiet, cozy. The beds were fairly comfortable. We wished for a bit more comfortable living room furniture, but it was adequate. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Nice Getaway to Recharge

My family stayed at this home for 2 days. The house and area were very clean. The home was well stocked with kitchenware, towels, and everything we possibly could need! The view of the river was very relaxing & we were able to explore the river rock area, giving our kids some outdoor fun. The owners were very nice and easy to connect with.

Bob and Amy are excellent hosts. The property is beautiful and very clean. Awesome view from the front porch of the Susquehanna River and just steps away. Lots of parks to visit and hike near by and The Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville is just 10 minutes away. We definitely recommend a stay at this water front property.

cute getaway

We had a great time at this house. Beautiful view. House was clean. We fished,did some swimming had bombfires it was great.. Swimming was hard cause there were a lot of slppery rocks. Great for kayaking or floating down the river. Peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature.

Beautiful Spot on the River

The owners left us an anniversary card and little drinks on the table, it was so very sweet. We had told them it was our 30th anniversary. They had all things needed to cook in the kitchen, very clean and the mattress was very comfortable in main bedroom. We will definitely come here again.

Lovely Getaway in a Rural Setting

This vacation home was super clean and comfortable (including furniture & beds). Very peaceful and cozy. Sitting on the covered deck enjoying the river view was relaxing. Unfortunately heavy rains prohibited us from doing much (fishing, campfires, etc.), but that's mother nature for ya! Everything is exactly as listed and well cared for. Host was super responsive with any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this property for a quiet getaway on the river.

Trip for granddaughter’s varsity Nationals competition.

This was our second stay with Amy and Bob. Nice place on the river. Beautiful view! Super clean with everything you’d need for our stay. Complimentary items from coffee to to body wash. We had a wonderful time. Can’t wait for another girls trip with daughter, granddaughter and sister making fun memories. Thank you Amy and Bob for being awesome hosts! 😊

A beautiful spot

We have rented this house two years ego, and now we visited calm peaceful place again finding some improvement (first of all a big canopy over the terrace). We had a chance to continue the familiarization with the fishing condition in the river (the plastic crawfish was very effective when bass fishing) and exploring the area. Amy and Bob are the great hosts ready to help us with the minor problems resolving at any time. The kitchen is fully equipped, so we cooked all the time by ourselves. There are a lot of beautiful parks around, so I would highly recommend this vacation rental case.

Absolutely the best!

Just returned from our girls weekend and to say that we were blown away by this rental is an under statement. We have never rented a place so clean and where the owners actually care about you having a great time. From receiving a message Saturday morning about an event nearby they thought we would like (and we did) to helping us Sunday evening start a fire so we could have s'mores. The rental has almost everything you need and if it doesn't the grocery store is minutes away. Everything was spotless. We always try to leave a place cleaner than how we found it but I don't know how we could have. Access to the river is RIGHT THERE! No steps or huge bank to go up and down. The area is quiet and peaceful. Definitely on our list to rent again!

lovely setting, lovely host

Two good-size bedrooms, one with a big master bath, and lovely river views from the living room and covered deck (with hammock!). Kitchen was minimally but functionally stocked, and an outdoor grill is available. For groceries and other supplies there's a Big M and Dollar General five minutes away, and Weis, Price Chopper, and Frog Pond Farm Stand 25 minutes away. Host was quickly responsive and very helpful with our occasional queries. People with chemical sensitivities might note that there were "air fresheners" plugged in in all rooms when we arrived; we unplugged them and opened windows and were fine. The living room and one of the bedrooms have window air conditioners. Wifi was strong and steady. Great access to Nathanial Cole Park and Chenango Valley State Park. We had a lovely week here!
