We loved this cozy place to stay. Matt and Eliza were genuinely friendly and attentive. The cottage is sweetly decorated and the small kitchen has everything you might need for an overnight. Really enjoyed the coffee in the morning. Bed very comfortable with extra blankets. The little fireplace in the sitting room put out a nice warmth for the cool Sept evening. The cottage is in a rural area, which means some winding around on country roads to get there, but well worth the extra effort. One note, the spiral staircase to the bed and bathroom in the loft might be a bit tricky for anyone with rusty joints 😬 but it’s oh so cozy once you’re up there.

This was a comfortable and peacefully beautiful place to stay. The hosts were so generous to allow us to walk in the gardens and lawns and sit in the outdoor spaces. Our only regret was that my husband and I were timid of the spiral staircase because of our age. It would not have bothered us a few years ago. Just something to keep in mind. However, I rate it an excellent stay in every other way!

Quaint Cottage

Enjoyed our stay, we were visiting friends nearbye and this cottage was very convenient. It had eveything you needed for a short stay. The only concern some people may have is a tricky spiral stair to the loft bedroom and bath.
