“Pet friendly and easy to get to but the rooms are very cramped, outlets by bed didnt work, when I used a paper towel to wipe up something off the floor it came back black like the floors never get mopped. Hardly ever anyone actually at the front desk, have to call them by phone to come down and always prompt but just found that odd. Coffee machine in lobby appears out of service with no coffee cups. Very thin walls can hear everything around you and there were multiple people jsut letting dogs……

This hotel needs to be updated.Its old but it served our purpose .No hair dryer in room ,office was closed from 6 am to 9 am which we were surprised about .So if you just need somewhere cheap to just spend nite it works we were tired it was late so this is why we chose this hotel .”

“We stayed in Room 3, if the other rooms were as great as ours then it would be hard to beat this location. The view of the river and sunset were awesome. The restaurant service would be hard to beat anywhere and the food was excellent. All in all we loved our stay at Surry Seafood Inn.”

“This was my first time staying at a budget hotel. This was just out of necessity needing to pull over somewhere to sleep on a road trip. Seemed like the people there tried to make it nice and the people themselves were nice but I'd never stay somewhere like that again. The room smelled like musty humid sweaty feet and I was afraid to walk around without socks or shoes on. The bed was ok but creaky as anything. Pillows were flat as pancakes but there was one fuzzy soft blanket so that was a plus……

“The place has kitchenette but no cocking pans or cups or utensils. Not even hair dryer only one soap and small shampo and only 2 towels for 2 room . I wot ever stay again.”

“I can’t say what I didn’t like but I can say everything else was excellent love the staff they were so friendly helpful with information always with a pleasant smile and attitude very good I definitely will recommend and definitely will be back at this hotel only God bless all!”
