「Very nice well maintained hotel. Staff is great, too.」

「When we arrived at 2, they seemed surprised & our room was not ready even though it said check-in was at 2. We had to wait an hour before it was ready. After settling in, we found poop on the base of the toilet, hair on the floor of the tub, & dead lady bugs in the window seal. After informing an employee, a room cleaner came & cleaned the things mentioned. Nothing was expressed about being sorry or was it mentioned during or after our 2-day stay. The only positive we can say about this place...

「Loved the nod to nature - nice wildflowers everywhere. Room was big and clean with your own slider to a covered patio. Easy access for wheelchair guests - no stairs. Loved it!」

「It was quiet and clean … a nice place to stay.」

「The staff was wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful. We requested a first floor room and it was just what we wanted.」

「Room was very clean and updated. Owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions.」

「The Nest was exactly what we wanted for Nordic Fest. Having reserved parking was a godsend. The apartment was clean and well appointed. All in all a great place to stay.」

「Great historic place that has great charm.」

「No interaction with staff except for an envelope on the door」

「The prairie and stream were beautiful. We loved the outdoor covered deck and the 3 season enclosed porch. Everything was clean. The fishing was good for the amount of rain we had.」

「Cabin is beautiful property settled in the rolling hills. Secluded & peaceful! Loved the pool and pond - pond access could use some improvements to better be able to access all it has to offer fishing! Great fishing - my kids loved all the bass and blue gills!」

「Very comfortable」

「This is an amazing property. So quiet and peaceful. We used the fire pit at night to really relax. We went to decorah. Waterfalls ate at multiple restaurants that were all fabulous. The downtown decorah is acute quaint community. Everything was very clean and fresh. We would highly recommend this place to stay.」

「Loved the spacious apartment style - easy to relax in one space while others slept in. Beds were comfy, temperature was perfect even during an Iowa heatwave. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. (coffee in the cupboard!) Off street parking was a really nice perk. We will definitely be back! Almost forgot! The Koreana Japanese restaurant downstairs - perfect for a late night snack! 😋 (Along with beers from Pulpit Rock & Topling)」

「We stayed in Suite 1 of Day Street Suites for 3 nights for a long weekend get away. This historic mansion has been lovingly updated. Everything was very clean. Kitchen had anything needed to cook or have quick snack. Comfy bed & furniture and plenty of fluffy towels. A short walk to downtown with all the shops and restaurants. If you go on a weekend make reservations to eat Pizza @ Luna Valley Farm. It’s just a short drive into the country. All communication from Bruce & Kaleen was clear &...

「The inn is beautiful, with many nice touches. The room was clean and stylish. Barb & Jeff were delightful... super friendly & helpful. They went out of their way to make sure everyone had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was delicious and they made sure that everyone's dietary issues were addressed. They clearly love what they're doing. The absolute only negative was that there is a train crossing nearby and the train horn awakened us a few times. We would definitely be back if we're ever in the...

「Love the location of this place with it being right downtown and close to a few places to eat. That being said, traffic can get a little loud! Comes as a warning that there are stairs…they are definitely more difficult when having to carry luggage up/down them, so take that into consideration if you’re bringing a lot. We were only there one night and our kids are old enough to help so it was fine. Not sure that the air was working great - would have liked it a little cooler while sleeping....
