“House was beautiful as was the view off of the back porch. Although we didn’t use them, there were lots of games available. Would be even better in the summer with the back porch and grilling. Owners were available throughout our stay if needed anything and had a pound of local coffee for us which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend this property for families, couples or any combination. Thanks for the hospitality. ”

“The cabin is definitely really cozy. Sadly, there were a few issues like the AC unit, but Eric quickly dealt with that which I deeply appreciated. I loved the location. If you want privacy, this is the place to be. I slept well every evening. And the cleaning lady, Toni, was great. I had forgotten my toiletry bag and she went out of her way to make sure I got it back.”

“We really liked the property and had a great time in the area. This property was perfect for my wife an I. We didn't need much from the property owners, but they were attentive when we had questions and made sure we had what we needed for a great stay. While the property is right on highway 49 we didn't get disturbed in any way by vehicle traffic. The cottage is very nice and comfortable. ”

“From the moment we walked into the rental, we were blown away by the welcoming details that Shannon and Steve left for us! They had a warm fire going for us when we arrived as well as relaxing music. What a touch!! In addition, they went above and behind by leaving Easter eggs and treats for the kids (we were there in Easter day). No other host had ever been this thoughful! Thank you Shannon and Steve! “This cabin is wonderful. It had all of the necessities and a few touches that made it homey and comfortable. Right next door is the owners market and grill. It has great food and everyone treats you kindly. I love that this cabin is pet friendly (the owner, Peter, has a heart for animals himself). I look forward to staying here again.”

“The giant windows in the living room are dramatic and luxurious. Beds were comfortable. Carpets and living room furniture are starting to show their age but not bad. Kitchen is adequate but some of the pots and pans are also well used. Shower drains were just a little slow in two of the three. Overall a fantastic place.”

“Cute cabin, quiet location. Shaver lake itself is beautiful but unfortunately the shoreline had a lot of trash. Beer cans, cloths, dirty diaper. Very sad and disappointed with the lake area. Just hung out at the cabin and played games.”

“Clean, convenient location, cozy. Easy to get to with 4x4 in snow. Convenient parking. Large kitchen and living space. Will definitely rent this cabin again. There is no clothes washer, but there is a dry. Clothes washer not needed, but shown in the listing and wasn't there when we stayed.”

“House is like a museum with artifacts of old western themed items and pictures (i.e. Hop Along Cassidy, Lone Ranger, etc). Great deck, very comfortable inside, all the amenities you may think of, or need.”

“We loved this property! So spacious and comfortable. Perfect for the six of us. An easy 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. Loved the wood burning stove. The kitchen was spacious, the beds were comfy. A late season storm almost snowed us in. The owners’ staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They brought us a snow shovel and even helped find some snow chains for our car. We’re definitely coming back to this house!”
