“We stayed for three nights, and really enjoyed pottering round Rye and mornings on the beach. Robin Hill is a wonderful place to stay, a welcoming and comfortable family home. Communication was excellent, the house very clean, and it was so nice to stay somewhere with character and history in equal measure! Many thanks :)”

Overall park was nice but not many facilities for young children (the play park could be much better) however the pool was great baby pool well heated! Great location close to amenities and Hastings town. Owner responsive and helpful. Thank you for a great stay”

“I have stayed here several times and this was another excellent break. Also it is very important to me that the railway and supermarket are close by as I travel by train. Rye is very historical and I learned more about the town on this visit. There is so much to see. Also the Rye Harbour nature reserve is also a big highlight.”

“A deceptively spacious accommodation which easily slept 9 adults. The kitchen was well stocked with the usual items and smoothly led onto the dining area and garden area. The living room and bedrooms were really tastefully decorated and again, spacious. Would I use this accommodation again? Yes, it met our needs, nicely located for a walking weekend and our host was very helpful in answering all our questions”

“We loved our stay at the farm. The ideal location for driving to lovely local towns, Whitstable etc., check-in was very smooth and we were greeted on arrival. The cottage is really well stocked, not the usual rental with no crockery/wine glasses. We even remarked that the bedding & towels smelt so fresh. We chilled, we watched some TV, we luxuriated in the hot tub. There was ample space for our group of 3. We actually thought the cottage was better in person, than the photos - it is nice and……

“Das Cottage liegt mitten in einem Naturschutzgebiet an den Klippen und hat einen hübschen Garten mit Grillplatz und Sitzecke Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, natürlich handelt es sich um ein sehr altes Haus und keinen Neubau. Die Wandermöglichkeiten sind super und in der Umgebung gibt es wenige Minuten mit dem Auto gute Gastronomie. Zu beachten: zum Kanal hin steht in der Nähe eine Radarstation, die leichte Geräusche verursacht, das hört man aber nur außerhalb des Hauses. Uns hat es nicht gestört.……

“The house is perfect for a getaway in the Weald. It was spotlessly clean. A nice welcome package with milk, cereal and tea made breakfast easy. Everything was in good nick. Recommend their pub The Kings Head in nearby Staplehurst. Also 50 minutes to London from there if you want no more beautiful countryside.”

“The Beach Hut is in a great location - really close to the beach, and a short drive from Rye and Hastings. The Hut was in great condition - very clean and the comfortable. The resort has lots to do (we had a lot of fun playing bingo!). Great for a family holiday or short break.”

“We were 6 old school friends, mid 50s looking to relax and reconnect. The house and location, views, garden, matresses, sheets - all was perfect. The heating system had a glitch that the owner deslt with and fixed immediately ( well a day or so after we finally confessed we were unable to use the high tech water/ heater syatem). The kitchen was also far too sophisticated for us, but we got the stove, oven and microwave to work eventually ( none of us has a phd in engineering lol). The place was……

“Set in beautiful private land, with fantastic views of the countryside and swimming lake, very warm and high quality private bathroom and hut. Great Hot tub looking at the stars, great veranda. Electricity in the hut and shared communal fridge and freezer, as well as your own fridge and microwave. Host let us bring out own fire pit and lent us a toaster, as none in the hut. Very Romanic ( wont take the kids next time) Nigel the host very friendly and helpful. Sooooo relaxing, local pubs good and……

“Our family of 4 plus woofer dog had a great time and Chesterfield cottage was great to base ourselves from. The courtyard was a little suntrap in the afternoons for the very rare times we actually stayed in the cottage during the day. Comfy and everything we needed - thank you again Richard for having us!”
