"Great location in Orange County Va farm land very close to many attractions and with in reach to Charlottesville for a day trip via country road route 20 ( no traffic lights). The cottage is an outbuilding on the Bloomingdale Farm property that is surround by working farms. The view from the porch is peaceful and relaxing with the Blue Ridge off in the distance. "Easy check in and check out process. If you like the country and mountains this is the place. Conveniently located down the street from the gas station a small store/ restaurant and not a far drive from the Shenandoah National Park. The reason we chose this place is because it is dog friendly and near the Shenandoah mountains. We visited the mountains for some day hikes. The house is nicely kept and spacious with a big yard."

"My family and I stayed here for a weekend trip to Masssanuten. It was about a 10 minute drive to the ski and tubing parking lot. We were a 10 minute drive to town and minutes from plenty of restaurants. The house was nice and clean when we showed up. The yard was plenty big and i think could probably use a firepit or something tontake advantage of the space. I know on a longer trip, that would be a cool hangout spot. "House was comfortable for everyone! Very clean with nice linens and towels. Kitchen had all that we needed. Great location with several good restaurants and shops near by. We were there for UVA graduation so it was a bit out of the way, but the drive back and forth was so lovely with all the farms to look at. Hosts were so easy to communicate with too. There are two flights of stairs with all bedrooms upstairs. I Would stay there again any time in Orange!"
