“Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)”

“Very noisy because of the pub below so until 23:00 loud then from 05:00 in the morning music starts again and people singing so if you want to party I guess it’s the right place but if you want to rest get yourself a proper hotel room, me personally I wouldn’t go back ”

“Lovely property with all rooms within reasonable distance of the car park and reception. Very polite and highly trained receptionists. Room good size, nice coffee maker, clean fresh comfortable bed with nice pillows. Enjoyed trying out the Dyson hairdryer. Bath nice and long. Water was right temperature for bath or shower but it went cold a couple of times. Breakfast was very good I enjoyed both the buffet and full English. Maggie was particularly helpful and there was another……

“Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The room was spotless and the amenities were excellent, including the well-stocked small fridge with food and snacks. The weather was exceptionally cold during our stay, and unfortunately the small heater wasn’t quite enough to keep the room comfortably warm.”
