I stayed at The Stables from a Friday night to the Monday morning in November 2024. Bill and Sarah were warm and welcoming both on the phone, giving me good directions and in person. Our stay was comfortable, the cottage was immaculately clean, well equipped and well situated for visiting local sights. When we were getting ready to leave on the Monday morning, Bill noticed that I had a flat tyre on my car, he offered to take it off and then take it to the local tyre place to have it fixed, luckily I only needed for it to be pumped up and I got it to the tyre place myself. I could not recommend the The Stables enough and will be returning myself in the future.

Fantastic break

We spent just Two night at this lovely cottage but we had a wonderful time. The landscape is beautiful and the bird’s chirping is a lovely way to wake up in the morning. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to use their place,

A beautiful part of the country and a very well equipped cottage.

A beautiful part of the country and a very well equipped cottage. The owner was very friendly and there on hand when we needed her but not intrusive. We would certainly return to this part of the country again and would definitely consider using the same accommodation. Plenty of room for a family of 5 with 3 strapping teenage boys.
