A charming lodge in secluded and peaceful surroundings. Directions to the property were very straight forward and the location very handy off the M5. This made the area very accessible which was a delight to visit. Worcester Cathedral is well worth a look, walking up the 235 steps was well worth the trip. Walking in The Malvern Hills was superb with views to die for. Another day was spent at Stratford-upon-Avon which again did not disappoint. We visited the local Plough and Farrow for a couple of meals, but actually mostly enjoyed chilling at the lodge on an evening observing the wildlife around the pond from the decking or in the hot tub. We were lucky enough to view a heron one evening, for around an hour wading through the water, we saw woodpeckers and of course loved the ducks, moorhens and swallows. All appliances were easy to use and made the week stay very enjoyable. Directions to the supermarket very straight forward which made sure we were stocked up all week. We ate breakfast on the decking every morning, and the nights we cooked in we ate our evening meals out there too. The WiFi was fine, accessing what we required.
The hot tub was the icing on the cake, a great accessory to the fantastic lodge. Very private, and protected from the elements but still able to observe the stars.
We hope to return, however we will chose not to travel on a Friday which made the journey quite tedious.
A fabulous week where we were able to chill and recharge our batteries.
Thank you Barry and Rita for allowing us to stay in your accommodation.
