- Blake Fell Hide is a two-bedroom holiday home in the western Lake District, easy reach of some of the finest walking and cycling in the national park. Haystacks — Wainwright's favourite fell is 20 minutes away via Buttermere. Ennerdale Water, is three miles from the door. The C2C cycle route starts 15 minutes away. The western Lakes is dog-walking country — Ennerdale, Loweswater, and the fells above Crummock Water are ideal for a dog with energy. Off the beaten track. Not off the grid.
