"Excellent location, right in the action, a block to 5th ave and tons of restaurants and bars. Only a few rooms in the hotel have been renovated to look like the pictures, mine was not, looked like it was renovated in 1970, but it was clean, no mold, no bugs. "Our room was close to a large generator or a/c unit but it didn’t affect our sleep. The ceiling fan above the bed wasn’t working so they made every effort to correct the problem. It took a couple of visits until it was finally fixed. We were gifted with a nice bottle of champagne and some macarons for the inconvenience. The staff was nice, super friendly and very attentive. Lucas and Javier at Spice were excellent at making us feel comfortable. Ahmed and Geronimo at Asiano and Pedro and Eric at the Chef’s Plate were great as well. We recommend the Chef’s Plate for a great dining experience. The spa was wonderful. I had a facial and body scrub with Damile who was excellent and gentle with my sunburn. 😊"

"Stayed 11 nights and really enjoyed it. This place is located inside the Playacar gated area. Nothing super special about this place but boy did we feel comfortable and relaxed here. The servers in the restaurant and beach cafe were just awesome. Special shout out to Noe and Samara. These 2 were just a step ahead of the other excellent servers. The cleaning gal for our room couldn’t have been any nicer. The whole staff was always there with smiles to make your stay welcoming. All inclusive was worth it. Breakfast was fresh and good. Dinner changed each night and was very good. Lunch at the beach cafe was just ok. Beds were comfortable. Will definitely check out again if in PDC. "
