Beautiful home away from home

A great place to stay, and so wonderful to be able to bring our dogs along. The view of the ocean is perfect, and access for walking beaches is convenient. We really enjoyed our stay.

Used this as the first night of our stay on the coast. Heading north from here. Place is great and cozy. Got great sleep and felt refreshed in the morning!

Cute little cottage

The cottage was clean and well stocked with the essentials. Beach access was not exactly easy with little kids, but there are easy to get to beaches very close by. It was quiet and lovely and the stars were so bright out there where there is no light pollution. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a very comfortable home with a fine view in a gorgeous section of the Oregon Coast. We especially enjoyed the super comfortable bed and the comfortable living room furniture. It is only seven miles from the cute village of Yachats.

Perfect location for a quiet getaway

A small, simple cottage perfect for two with an ocean view that does not require you invite several friends to cover the cost because the place sleeps 8+. Location is perfect for any activity between Florence and Newport but highly recommend Cape Perpetua hiking trails and Heceta Head Lighthouse.

Always a delight!

Sea Mist is a lovely beach cottage located near Yachats Oregon. The cottage offers everything you need: a full kitchen, washer/dryer, a comfy bed, and the sound of waves crashing on the shore. I love this place - this was my third visit!

Cozy comfortable cottage with all amenities we needed. Convenient to Yahacts without being in the crowds. Across the road from the ocean, which is visible from the cottage. Highly recommend, would definitely stay there again.

A Get-Away for Two

This little, simple house is perfect for two people with a nice view of the ocean. The highway is quiet at night when it is great to listen to the ocean waves. It has all the kitchen amenities for cooking. There is plenty of hot water, a good shower and comfortable bed, and a bbq that works (as opposed to some rentals by the ocean where it is rusted out!). The location is really nice for accessing many spots along the coast.

Very comfortable little beach cottage. Lovely ocean view out the front window! Silverware needs to be replaced though. There wasn't enogh spoons! It is well maintained and clean though. Very satisfied.

Quaint and reasonably priced

I’ve stayed at this quaint little house several times in the past. It’s quiet and nestles up against the forest. There’s a great view of the ocean from the large bay windows. There is some traffic noise from the highway but it’s not excessive. Be sure to arrive before nightfall as it can be easily overlooked during your drive since it sits back from the highway, and because there are no street lights nearby, it’s pretty dark at the front door, so be sure to have a flashlight in your vehicle.

Nestled just 7 miles south of Yachats, this beach cottage offers a cozy retreat at a reasonable price, a rarity in this pricey area. The bed provides a comfortable night's sleep, while the sleeper sofa, although suitable for kids, might challenge an adult's back. Despite its proximity to Highway 101, road noise is minimal, allowing for peaceful relaxation. The cottage exudes charm and warmth, with a quaint ambiance complemented by a soothing, high-pressure shower. However, guests should note the early 10 am check-out time and the absence of a dishwasher. Dishes must be washed and put away before departure. Overall, while not luxurious, this cottage serves as an ideal base for beach and forest adventures, accommodating a family of three comfortably.
