This ocean view property sits six miles south of downtown Yachats, providing peace, quiet, and close proximity to one of the most scenic stretches of the entire Oregon Coast. You'll find several wonderful restaurants and art galleries in Yachats, as well as excellent hiking trails and viewpoints at Cape Perpetua (four miles north). Don't miss catching a glimpse of Thor's Well (three miles north) or the famous Sea Lion Caves (eight miles south).

Great place! Needs a little TLC
Beautiful place, beautiful view, comfy beds!! Love the hot tub too! Cupboards, kitchen utensils, pot & pans filthy when we arrived. We let Vicasa know about it and they were very kind. Refunded us a 1/4 of our stay and wanted to take immediate action! Thank you for the great customer service! We will use Vicasa again!!

Left and got a hotel. Did not stay even one night. Live mouse in the kitchen, lots of mouse poo in the kitchen, under sink, stairs and hallway.

Many issues with the property. Burned out light bulbs, no tv instructions , no welcome and departure manual, remote didn’t work for the fan, oven door is coming loose, bedroom lamp lights didn’t work.

I've already given this place one review, but now you are asking again... Hope I can remember all that I said before... As I walked up to the front door 1) minor trash in bushes 2) bird poop on Welcome sign inside 3) some loose dirt on steps up to hallway 4) broken shade pull on floor of master bedroom 5) old Q-tip on floor of master bedroom 6) only outlet in bath virtually inaccessible and it was not working Hallway bath 7) missing tile in shower area kitchen 8) Toaster oven was filled with crumbs 9) Toaster oven had missing foot...very unstable 10) burned out lights throughout the house 11) Pellet stove unpluged and no pellets available 12) Fireplace in TV room had broken door...no wood available 13) doors in lower bedroom "sticky"...wouldn't close properly 14) side door to lower hallway left OPEN (not just unlocked) (anyone wanting to could have stolen any of inside appliances and completely trashed the house before we got there). 15) your add said the beach was within a 2-3 min walk, the folks at the RV park denied us permission to walk across their property and beach access was almost a mile away along a very busy and possibly dangerous highway. 16) after my first review, my wife mentioned that she saw mold in the shower next to the master bedroom. 17) I found "crudd" in groove of cheese slicer...after I sliced some cheese... REMEMBER ...YOU ASKED!

Not in good shape ....
The blue room, master bathroom toilet could not be used nor did the lighting in the room work. Both fire places where not able to be used and the sofa was coming apart at the seams. The shower in the second bathroom did not work and had a bunch of tile missing and some coming off. I called the vacation rental place and asked for a partial refund as we were paying per room and could not use one altogether. With everything else that's listed has amenities on the site for the house I thought asking for a partial refund was more than appropriate, They said they would have the property manager get a hold of me about the refund. Moments after getting off the phone the property manager called me wanted a list of all the things that were broken and then wanted to come over in the middle of our vacation to fix everything. I asked about the partial refund and the property manager just referred me back to them. Not much I can do when they won't give you a partial refund and just bounce you back and forth. I'm not overly impressed and will not rent from them again in the future.

There was a few quirks … nothing we couldn’t see past… hallway bathroom shower was not in functioning order… One of the spare bedroom lights .. couldn’t figure out how to turn them on…. The glass doors for the fireplace was missing the glass… The back deck needs some love on a few of the butt joints and the back and front stairs should have a walkway and or path$

Limited supplies
It was very difficult to find at night and to figure out where to enter. An outside motion light would have been helpful. We are a family of 7. There were only dishes for one meal at a time. We had to run the dishwasher every meal. Very minimal kitchen supplies as well. There were holes in the couch and the footrest, not small either. Beds were nice.

Dirty, smelly, stained, disgusting
Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on this house! This was the most uninviting, unclean property that I have stayed at the Oregon Coast. Quite a hefty nightly charge for a musty, unclean smell through the whole house, dirty, unusable living room with heavily stained furniture and an unsanitary kitchen that doesn't even have the basic kitchen ware. It has 6 chipped dinner plates, 2 small plates, and 2 water glasses ( for 6 people). The owner and the management company obviously does not care about customer safety and satisfaction at all and this house should not be rented to anyone.
