“We booked a villa. The scenery was beautiful, the resort had numerous issues which affected our stay. The toilet/shower doors were very difficult to close due to warping and lack of maintenance. The front light didn't work, so the room was dark. The air-conditioning hardly worked and only barely managed to keep the room cool at night (between 8pm and 6am). During the day the air conditioner was so poor that it was cooler outside than inside. The entire time you're at the resort you are being……

“A true gem- it’s a little distant from “town” but after spending a night in town the previous night, I’d take the distance and unique setting over being in town any day. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Staying here feels like a breath of fresh air and was very enjoyable.”

“Location of the hotel in the national park is amazingly beautiful! But the lack of information and service made for a poor experience. They don't have a website, and no proper information was provided for how to access the location of the hotel on the island (what pier to get on boat, where to meet contact person at the pier, times the boats operate, additional fee for park entrance at the pier, etc). What really made me angry was the “morning safari”: 20 minutes of being ferried to 3 selfie locations for 40+ minutes of selfies. I was insulted, angry, and genuinely upset. No attempt to find wildlife. No attempt to do or see anything interesting. No reverence for the location. Cookie cutter trash. I’ve been on safaris from Chitwan to the Serengetti and gladly would pay to avoid a Panvaree tour. After that,……
