“Went to check in and the place smelled terrible and was so run down, I chose not to stay. It did not feel safe. I asked for a refund from Expedia, but the property manager denied it. Expedia gave me one key credit, which was nice, and I went elsewhere.”

“The house had everything that we needed for five guys on a golf trip. House was clean and had all the essentials. The hot tub and pool table were nice features. The only thing I would say is a slight negative was the kitchen just a little on the small side compared to others we’ve rented in the area. Also, if you will be using the basement bedrooms, the floors on the first floor are squeaky all around the house. So a little distracting for the guys in the basement rooms. Other than that, it was……

“Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations.……

Both houses were perfect—spacious, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests for the small wedding we celebrated on-site, helping make the day truly unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”
