"A beautiful colonial building. The room was very spacious and clean with good views. Staff were very welcoming and were happy to help us in every way with excellent food in the restaurant. We would have no hesitation in recommending Arcadia Resort . "

"Its a beautiful, nostalgic throwback to a colonial India hillstation. Darjeeling is wonderful and this hotel has memories, from the posters and photis on the walls, of life back when. I stayed in the Tenzing Norgay block, with old somewhat faded photos of the great man along every inch of corridor. But not everything works...some of the lights, the bedsheets dont fit, the towels are worn. None of that distracted me from the historic atmosphere of old time luxury. The afternoon tea was great, as were all meals. And staff exceptional."
"I stayed 2 delightful nights at the Ivanhoe. Your managers couldnt have been more helpful and thoughtful. The old part of the hotel is far nicer than the new annex.
I stayed in a cosy room ( Col Sir Younghusband )with a fireplace, surrounded by thoughts on who had graced these rooms in the past. A place with a lot of character and lovely staff. Well done and thank you.

"It’s a nice property located at a walking distance from Mall Road.Enjoyed the stay there.Good hotel and nice staff. They know how to behave with guest always with smiling faces..Will surely recommend others."
"The rooms were clean and the staff were really helpful. They need to make the hotel more friendly for the people with disabilities. They need to put side rails up and make the hotel more wheel chair accessible. Furniture is old, basically to maintain the colonial heritage, but still the furniture could polished to look new. Otherwise no complaints.
They just need to make it more friendly for the DISABLED since it’s on the top of a hill."
