Great location and lovely accommodations

Really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and spacious but cozy. What an amazing location…steps from the beach, beautiful view of the ocean from multiple areas, and it’s just so close to everything.

Lovely quaint cottage

You really cannot beat the location and views from this quaint cottage right on the boulevard. The closed porch encased in windows was wonderful for our family with littles and dogs as it provided safety without sacrificing our beach view. The large deck off the bedrooms upstairs was also a lovely and relaxing spot to take in the sights. Owners were very friendly and available for any needs throughout the stay. We loved the small conveniences of having additional beach chairs, toys and kites available. Kitchen was well equipped, internet worked, and grill was handy. We honestly were a little worried about the lack of a dishwasher, but found that we were able to keep up with the dishes with ease. Nothing a few extra paper plates can’t fix. As noted, there is room for 2 large SUV’s or 3 small cars. Driveways are shared but we had no issues coming in or out. Showers are tight but very on brand for what the old school cottages of yesteryear offered. Water pressure was great, which is always helpful after a day of sun and sand. We had a wonderful stay here at this cottage and would definitely stay again.

Beach front blast!

My family and I had the best vacation at Long Sands Beach in York Maine. What made it evern better was our rental property and the hosts. The house we stayed in surpassed all our expectations. It has everything. So much stuff that my husband and I looked at each other and said we over packed. I can't say enough nice things about this house. It was cozy, quiet, family friendly and had amazing views. Not to mention that the beach was literally a few feet away across the street. My only complaint was that I wish that the carpet upstairs didn't go into the shower room. This made for the carpet to remain wet longer then normal and hard to dry. Other then that the house was a 10 out of 10 for me. We can't wait to book our trip back next year. The Tessier/Card Families

Overall great location!

The house listing pictures are accurate to the house. The house however is very old and the floors are uneven while walking through the home which may be a hazard to elderly or young children. There was no bathroom on the main living floor, the shared bathroom is on the third floor which worked for our crew. The two additional bedrooms are in the basement (first floor of the house) which we were surprised that we couldn’t access from inside the house. We had to go outside and down a flight of stairs to access the first floor bedrooms which again worked for us but may not for families with small children. We had an issue with the basement bathroom shower and sink backing up and not draining… not sure exactly what that was about but the property manager was very quick to respond and sanitize the bathroom afterwards. Despite the odd quirks of the home, it was a great quick getaway with friends and family.
