“The host was good at communicating. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The kitchen seemed to have everything you could need to cook any meal. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows.”

“This is truly a log cabin with an old time rustic feel. Despite the traditional look, it had all the modern amenities we needed. It was cozy with a lot of personal touches. Everything was clean and convenient. The property was very private with a view of the creek at the bottom of the hillside. The gas fireplace added great ambiance and the back porch was nice for bird watching. It's just a short drive from downtown Gettysburg and many historic sites. We would love to come back in warmer……

“Beautiful restored home. Very clean and very comfy beds. Great place to rest while exploring Lancaster County. So close to Strasburg. Wish we had more time to sit outside and enjoy the firepit but weather prevented that. So much history! Loved the before and after pictures. Loved the fresh baked cookies upon our arrival. Very easy to check in. Will be back! One of our favorites. ”
