「The home was perfect and was in a great spot. I enjoyed the walk to Yorktown, the history, and plus the food. If you get a chance make sure you go Farmers market on Saturday’s. Nice walk and there was some amazing things at the farmers market. 」

「Great area to stay! Short Walking distance to Waterfront with beach, food, and shops. Free Trolley also available. Very Friendly area! Close to Yorktown Visitor Center, short drive to American Revolutionary War Museum and Battlefields. Cottage was very clean and spacious. However, bathrooms are kinda small and shower doesn’t have strong water pressure. There is only one bedroom with a door, other bed is in open area outside bedroom. We enjoyed a short stay for our anniversary weekend. 」

「This listing says cottage but it's an apartment. Be ready to go up stairs to get into it. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything works, but it's not especially well equipped for cooking. The coffee maker does not work. Our checkin was delayed for about 40 minutes when we arrived and we had no where to stay while waiting for our apartment. Wi Fi was very weak in the apartment and TV is like a hotel where there are certain channels available but no way to sign in to your own streaming accounts....

「This roomy cottage had everything we needed. The complete separate apartment connected nicely with the rest of the house's dining area and large living room. King's Creek is perfectly located for visiting Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and Jamestown. The staff was great and we enjoyed the pool.」

"The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it. However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t mention anything about it, even though I was traveling with kids. Starting as early as 6 a.m., guests began walking around for breakfast, some trying to open the emergency exit—which triggered a loud alarm. The real issue started after 7 a.m, when the emergency exit began functioning as a regular door. Guests continuously came in and out, causing the door to slam shut every 2–3 minutes. The loud banging made it impossible to rest. It was truly exhausting and disrupted our rest completely. Getting a good night’s sleep is one of the main reasons to stay at a nice hotel, and sadly, that didn’t happen here. All in all, this property is ok—but if you're assigned room 126, 128, or any room near the emergency exit, request a room change to avoid a similar experience. "
