Apple House has it's own carpark behind the building. It is also perfectly located to walk into York through Micklegate Bar. Takes about 10 minutes. Just be aware that there is no lift if you overpacked like I did ! Great hosts and lovely breakfast. I would definitely stay here again

My room was spotless with a comfy double bed. Hot water was plentiful and pretty much instantly available. My room was a loft room at the top of the house. (Not really suitable for anyone with mobility problems but fine for everyone else). In addition to the the usual features of a bedroom it also had a space with fridge, microwave and small dining area. I didn't use the extra facilities as I was only there one night but it would be ideal for anyone wanting to reduce costs by preparing a simple meal rather than dining out. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic and staff were very friendly

Lovely stay. Room are a bit small, but include sound proofing windows and a fan (if needed). Plus, guests are allowed to use the downstairs ‘lounge’ area when it’s not breakfast time. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Property is very close to the train and city center.

Clean and comfortable and within easy walking distance to the city centre. Having the fridge and mictrowave in the room was very convenient for keeping snacks and meant we didn't have to eat out for all three meals. Danielle and Tarquin were helpful and gracious hosts. Would highly recommend The Apple House.

Ett trevligt bemötande från ägarna. Rent och fräscht. Det serveras också en mycket bra frukost om man köper till detta. Boendet ligger strax utanför stadsmuren, vilket är en fördel för bilförare.
