A lovely hotel right in the middle of the pretty market town of Helmsley so very convenient for shops, bars and restaurants and close to the castle. Breakfast excellent and having dined in ths restaurant in the evening also some good food choices, if not necessarily the cheapest. The room was of a very high standard, very comfortable and spacious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel, small room
Helmsley is lovely and the hotel is in an excellent location. Friendly staff and yummy breakfast. Although we were disappointed with the size of the room (it was tiny) we wouldn’t stay again for £170, not sure whether we drew a short straw booking via Expedia.

There was cobwebs above the bed..shower teay had hairs..and the room looked tired... Lights on the ceiling needed painting aroung wallpaper starting to peel. .just abit tired

Lovely dog friendly hotel
Just stayed for one night as a birthday celebration. The room was ready early & we were able to check in about 12 noon which was nice. Enjoyed a few drinks in the bar and breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and warm with everything we needed. We loved the little welcome pack for our dog. Will definately stay again

What a lovely hotel, The reception staff was vey friendly. Our room was lovely and comfortable and clean. Lovely modern bathroom. Plenty of toiletries.

Amazing long weekend at The Feathers
We can't say enough about this place. Superb room, excellent breakfast with lots of options. All the staff are very professional and very helpful. Food in the restaurant is also very good. Free parking is right behind the hotel which is a good touch. 10/10 for The Feathers and would highly recommend to anyone.

Our room was very spacious with very high standard facilities including an amazing bathroom. Lovely and quiet. We enjoyed our breakfast and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Helmsley is a very pretty market town. Highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely town square
Lovely hotel in a delightful town. Lots of place to eat and drink, great walks in the doorstep. Fab place for a break for a couple of days.

I enjoyed my 3 day stay at The Feathers hotel. I arrived Friday afternoon, but had to park my car on the main road as there wasn't a parking space behind the hotel. I have mobility ( I have a blue badge) issues which made bringing my case and walking trolley to the hotel very difficult. I would've had to make 2 trips to ask for help from staff members.

Excellent hotel, dining and bar. The food was great, staff helpful and our room was really nice with a cute welcome pack for our dog. The location is perfect for exploring Helmsley as well as easy access to the Cleveland way. Recommended.
