Great location but let down by cleanliness

My friend and I liked the modern facilities (dishwasher, microwave and oven) and easy access to major sites in York, but we noticed quite a few areas where cleanliness could be improved - we found stray hairs in the kitchen, unclean pots, utensils, tinsel on the floor and stained towels, which weren't ideal. Everything worked, but would have been good to not have to tidy up after the previous guests.

Great location, comfy, convenient, and spotless!

This place was great! We were having trouble getting in and our host immediately responded to our call and walked us through the process. Once inside, we found a spotless apartment with super comfortable beds. Showers were great, as was the washer/dryer for our clothes. Having a FREE parking space was really nice, too. The place was really close to all of the main attractions of York, as well. We were able to walk to just about everywhere we wanted to see.

Brilliant location so close to the center of York. No need to use the car. Lovely restaurant, pubs and coffee shops nearby. And lovely views from the property. Great property with everything you need.

The instruction given for check in was detailed and clear. The location of the property was perfect. Just the cleanliness of the property can be improved, the carpet was not cleaned properly, as I could still see the dust. It was so nice they have set up the additional bed, unfortunately it was too soft that not really comfortable for sleep.

Only stayed for a few days but could have stayed for a week. Beautiful location and views, unique and comfortable and spacious with a lovely welcome. Comfortable beds and very clean. My only criticism is lack of Draws. Even just one chest of drawers required. Also couldn’t figure out the heating. It would be lovely to stay in the summer with the balcony and the view. Close to everything York has to offer and still quiet. Would definitely stay again.

2 night stay in York

Come to York with a friends for a couple of nights. What can I say about this apartment, it was absolutely lovely. Great communication from the owners, it was spotless, very comfy, and so convenient, had a great view are just a few things we could say about the apartment. Was not expecting it to be set over 2 floors and have 2 balconies. We liked it that much we actually both said we could live there. I would certainly be recommending it to family and friends and anyone else reading this review. It is approx 5 mins walk in to the walls of York and there are plenty of shops, bars restaurants in close walking distance. Plus it had a convenient parking space.

Excellent accommodation

Excellent accomodation within easy walking distance of York centre and visitor attractions. Car park space provided. Would highly recommend.
