“Parking and drop off difficulty ”

“The bed is too soft which we felt backpain all day. We have tried both breakfast and dinner inside the hotel, but the taste is not good as their description. Maybe it's not suitable for us only. ”

“The hotel is easy to find and close to York famous city walls. The room is not too big but enough for single traveller. Reception lady is kind and offering help with my big luggage upstair. ”

“The stay was wonderful and we were treated with personal care. The only negative was that our room needed a little bit of repairs, given that the building is several hundred years old. Everything worked fine, but there were a few creaks in the floor that were in need of attention. The issue was limited to our room. The rest of the building appeared to be in great shape. By the time a reader sees this comment, the issue may have already been taken care of.”

“The bar.”

“Will definitely be coming back. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Truly enjoyed my time in the pub and making friends with the locals! Highly recommend this place as a solo traveller as they make you feel extremely welcome!”

“Quiet, friendly hotel. Very well maintained, lovely room, great staff. We enjoyed our stay!”
