“We were walking The Dales Way and arrived on a very wet Sunday afternoon. The staff at the pub were extremely welcoming and reserved us a table for dinner. The shepherds hut was lovely and cosy (underfloor heating), exactly what we needed after a long wet walk! The breakfast hamper was very welcome too.”

“Booked a 2 night stay for our 1st Anniversary. Excellent communication from host. Absolutely wonderful to have been given a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom lodge. Bedroom beautifully decorated with swan towels and rose petals - superb touch, along with anniversary banner on the door - thanks you. The lodge was clean cosy and home from home. Amazing views from the hot tub which was clean and covered with a veranda and fairy lights which made it perfect to relax. Would 100% recommend to anyone……

"Great location! Around 5 mins walk from the rail station. The room is premium and large. Well equipped with everything you need (except I didn't see a fridge though). The breakfast is nice exceythe black pudding is a bit dry. Two things I was not that satisfied. 1) there's some kind of smell like humidity. But ofc I got used to it in 5 mins... 2) I sometimes heard leaking (should be water going from the tubes but sounds like leaking). However all the rests are above my expectations so I still rate 5 star."
