"the house was comfortable for the 9 people who stayed there; There was originally supposed to be more which might have been a bit tight . Since the weather was cool and a bit rainy for this time of year, a lot of time was spent indoors and everyone was very comfortable. The Kitchen had everything we needed except for a good frying pan but not knowing I brought one! The hot tub and sauna were great if underused. "

"The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’ll need. But the hot tub was just not getting as hot as we wanted it. The host did call somebody out and had him look at the hot tub and checked the hot water as we all had to take cold showers. Overall it was a great stay and a very nice property. High recommended and will definitely book again."

"The room was dirty & unkept . The bed sheets in room 5 ( April 9, 2026 ) were NOT replaced prior to our arrival. When my wife & I were about to get in bed for the night we saw that the sheets contained someones grittiness . Who in the hell wants to crawl into that ? My wife was disgusted . It's MY WIFE ! We left around 3:00 am on 04/10/26 . Tried to get a refund but they declined . Chaffee Lodge is a JOKE & so is the long bearded fast talking lobby attendant ( "manager" LoL ) Also when my wife & I returned at 9:45 pm on 04/09/26 after visiting some friends the entire lobby & hallway reeked with the smell of weed . "

"Not many places where you can build a fire inside. Hot tub is very nice to relax in. Quiet, private area, very relaxing, very nice home rental. Everything you need is there. Host was very quick to respond to my booking and all questions"
