"We were in Ellicottville for a girls weekend and this was the absolute best place to stay. So much fun with activities within the house, location was perfect - could walk everywhere within the village, house was very clean and beautiful inside. We actually wish we had more time just to spend at the house relaxing but there was just so many fun things to do. Anytime I sent a question, response was almost immediate. Very easy check in and check out. Thank you again for a wonderful time - after 20 years of girls' trips - this one might be our favorite! "

"The room was clean, and the property is beautiful. If you’re not going for skiing, the only great thing about this place is the pool & hot tub. The beds were so uncomfortable. The tv barely worked - the remote was not functional, we couldn’t switch channels easily, and the channel we wanted to watch had a very poor signal. The shower was terrible. The water came out of the head with such force that we couldn’t stand directly under it. The tub drained very slowly. The shower curtain was so thin that there was a ton of water on the floor when we got out. "

"The room was dirty & unkept . The bed sheets in room 5 ( April 9, 2026 ) were NOT replaced prior to our arrival. When my wife & I were about to get in bed for the night we saw that the sheets contained someones grittiness . Who in the hell wants to crawl into that ? My wife was disgusted . It's MY WIFE ! We left around 3:00 am on 04/10/26 . Tried to get a refund but they declined . Chaffee Lodge is a JOKE & so is the long bearded fast talking lobby attendant ( "manager" LoL ) Also when my wife & I returned at 9:45 pm on 04/09/26 after visiting some friends the entire lobby & hallway reeked with the smell of weed . "

"The room was clean and staff were friendly. We extended the stay by another night, but no one every came to the room so we didn't expect to reuse towels left on the floor. We asked for new towels, which were provided, but it was a very strange situation."

"It was very clean and warm upon entering the cabin. kitchen had everything u needed to prepare meals I had some questions and they were addressed promptly. I will definitely come back again."
