“Great, clean, and pleasant stay. Very central too ”

“屬於公寓類型的旅館，最棒的是有完整廚具的廚房。可自己到附近的商店購買微波、烘烤或煮食的食品，並自行下廚。電車與公車站就在旁邊，行動方便。但是晚上電車行駛較晚，振動會造成些許困擾。有洗衣機對我們而言是相當方便的。但是有兩個晚上，隔壁房在半夜洗衣服，振動造成我無法入眠。”

“It's a building with several apartments so ours did not exactly match the photos, but it did look similar enough. We were on the second floor and there was no lift - something to be aware of if you have trouble with stairs. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were lovely and soft. The sofa was a little small but comfortable enough. The apartment was clean, but some of the kitchen utensils were dirty, presumably from previous guests. The oven did not work for us. I think the kitchen……

“Lovely cottage, I was unsure when booking as there wasn’t photos of all the rooms, however they were all great. The location was perfect, right by The Roaches, great for walks from the door step and close by to other amazing locations in the Peak District. Being so close to the tea rooms was convenient for lunch, and we were near enough to the town of Leek for shops for supplies. Comfortable beds, and the whole place was clean and tidy. Leaving cakes for us was a lovely touch. Thanks for a great……

“Fantastic location in a clean cosy cottage with lovely interiors. Only the steps were challenging for my husband who has difficulty walking. The quiet location added to the allure of the countryside. Just lovely.”

“The property has everything one needs, quite a lot of basic products such as milk, tea, coffee, sugar were provided. The heating was on as temperatures were low for June!”

“Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too.”

“An excellent base for visiting the Peak District. The flat was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Off road parking and use of a private garden was lovely. A quiet village location, 20 minute walk into Youlgrave with shops and pubs. We had an excellent meal at The George Hotel which we would recommend. Thank you Elaine for making our stay so easy.”

“We had a lovely 3 days staying in Topcroft cottage. All bedrooms are great sizes and having the 2 en-suites was very helpful as we were travelling as 2 families of 4. There is plenty of space for 8 people, the wood burner kept us cosy as the weather wasn’t as warm as we had hoped! Phillipa was so kind and dropped in a freshly baked cake and bread when we arrived, these went down a storm with all. The cottage is in Hathersage and attached to the village pharmacy. Parking is adequate for 2 cars……

“ • broken fence panel directly in front of the front window ( it hadn’t been picked up and it’s just lay flat directly outside the patio doors) • moldy food (bacon,sausage) all over the foot path and stood in multiple • as we entered we looked out the window and there was a large rat crawling around we saw this rat 4 times • Dirty baby wipes scattered all over the garden area •cigarette butts covering the whole garden •lots of rubbish scattered around the garden (crisp packets, baby……
