「The floor was carpeted but there are uneven spots. The room was muggy and the AC never quite worked so it was uncomfortable. The room also smelled weird. There was a school baseball team staying here that same night so it was loud and crowded which didn’t help feeling the discomfort. The staff seemed indifferent, robotic and wasn’t friendly at all.(front desk woman)」

「Dirty room, dusty and poor upkeep. Poor housekeeping service that did not reliably come to clean the room regularly and when they did, it was a poor job. They did not pick-up/change towels left in the tub. Bed-making was a joke and looked disheveled. Room smelled like smoke throughout our stay. Had to have it disinfected three times. Left a message at the front desk to call the manager about the situation and they never returned the call. TV did not work properly and maintenance could not fix...

「The hot water only stays on for about two minutes and then turns completely cold, making it difficult to shower. The beds are also very old and extremely squeaky, which makes it hard to rest. In addition, when we turn on the A/C, there is an intermittent low vibration noise that keeps coming on and off, and we cannot figure out the cause.」

「The room was kinda cleanish, but Most of the furniture had blemishes, spots, stains. paint missing on walls and certain areas like the door. The seal on the toilet was partially broken so toilet actually moves a little when you attempt to use it. ( we disinfected it before use) worse is the weird marks on wall by the toilet ( not sure if it was (poorly removed fecal matter or otherwise) strangely the a/c actually worked really well. They advertised pool but it is not available for use even...

「Such an awesome place to stay when out of town! Breakfast was nice and fresh…eggs, sausage links, hash brown potato’s, pancakes, grits, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, THE WORKS! Room was very spacious with a kitchenette. T.V. wasn’t working the 1st night, but they had resolved the problem. Very convenient location to where my conference was! Will definitely be staying here again and 100% recommend it! 」

「Beautiful hotel! Love the updates and front staff were pleasant. But our stay wasn’t the best! When we checked in, our room had dirty check markings all on the toilet seat, hairs in the bathroom sink and the bathroom door wouldn't close completely as the door screws were loosely hanging out and eventually fell off. 「I was very disappointed with the morning breakfast. The food containers were empty both mornings I tried to eat. The food choices were very sub-par. An egg white omelette or a cheese and egg omelette both days. They were something placed on a baking pan and heated up. Second morning they actually put some biscuits and gravy out, but they too were very scarce for consumption. Gravy pan was empty most of the time.The pancake maker machine was also slow and when it worked made very small...

「The staff was very nice. The room was decent but we did have dry ramen noodles on the carpet. They had fleas in the room and we went to get snacks one night and my card was charged for the snacks but the worker made us put them back bc he said that I was t charged and the money would be back in my account by the next morning. It’s 2 days later and I still don’t have my money or the snacks I paid for. I would not stay there again if I could help it. 」

「Such a cute little gem, right outside of downtown Lafayette. The house was lovely inside and out. The recent renovations and layout of the house makes it feel so much bigger than it is. The vaulted ceilings, and beautiful attention to details in the interior design made this a new place to stay when we visit! 」
