Yuma Yuma Crossing State Heritage Area Hotels

"The first thing we noticed when we walked into the room was an overwhelming smell of a spicy, musky men's cologne. I'm not sure what the smell was but it was powerfully awful. The room was ok. The carpet has seen better days and the bathroom was not ver clean. The corners of the floor and the sink definitely needed a good scrubbing. The AC worked great and the bed was pretty comfortable. When we checked in and out, the staff acted like they couldn't be bothered with our presence. They weren't unfriendly per se, just not friendly or smiling. No please, no thank you. The price was reasonable, but with so many other hotels in the close vicinity, I probably wouldn't stay here again. "

"The breakfast was the best part of this hotel. Very friendly attentive staff well equiped and supplied with ample choices. Our room was not cleaned for the 6 nihhts we were there. Would only drop off fresh towels and coffee when asked. If I didn't like an answer the front desk gave me i could just come back when a different person was there and get a totally different answer. Last time we stayed here the Happy Hour(which is a grest perk) gave everyone 2 free drinks and there were appetizers for free. This time we were told after the first drink that because there was 2 of us in the room we would have to pay for a second drink, even though it clearly states 2 free drinks per person. Also the free appetizers were now a menu to be paid for. Apparently Covid did a number on this place. Its not the cheapest in town but i thought by raising their rates that the service would be maintained. In need of a najor renovation. "

"Comfortable rooms always very clean and quiet. The free breakfast a plus the food is delicious. The staff are very accommodating to make sure you enjoy your stay. the hotel is very close to plenty of restaurants."

"The sheets and pillows had yellow stains. The wall paper was falling apart. The carpet was stained with red. It looked like it was not cleaned in months. Staff was friendly. I would not recommend anyone to stay. "

"the staff is overworked. there is trash in the parking lot. The breakfast is substandard. The toaster does not work plus some things were missing. The room seemed clean but could be upgraded. Could not figure out how to work climate control until the front desk person showed me how. Instructions should be provided to prevented frustration. Many Hispanic workers loitered in the public areas causing concern. Would not want to stay there again."
