“We highly recommend the stay at Acro & Polis in Athens.
It is very close to the historical spots. It takes only about 10 minutes for us to visit the Acropolis. The hotel is warm, clean and tidy. We especially love the balcony of the hotel - the Acropolis is just next to us!
The host is very friendly. Whenever we had any problems or requests, he tried his best to help. He is such a sweet host that he has prepared some wine and chocolate to celebrate our honeymoon! :)”

“Booked a non-smoking room. It was clearly occupied by people who had smoked there for weeks. Everything reeked. Sheets. Air. Towels. The hotel knew this because when we checked in and entered our room, the windows were wide open to the street to air it out..
Also: no suitcase rack, no rowel rack, no steamer or iron (had to ask), no soap (had to ask), and EXTREMELY loud. Herad all the noises from the street and the hallway. Room needs insulation and a proper ventilation to get rid of the second……

“Although located near Acropolis metro station with just 1 min walking distance, the location of the hotel itself is quite bad since it’s surrounded by construction sites, noise starts coming in as early as 7am! And there would be people gathering outside the hotel for smoke break, or would be illegal parking, it’s a mess when you go out or come back.
WiFi is desperately slow. Electricity shuts down in the middle of the night. Limited amenities and bad maintenance for everything (lights go out or……
